Dynamic IPv6 firewall configuration

I have an ISP provided Archer C5. I have access to the IPv6 firewall page and I'm able to let traffic through for a single global IPv6 address which is my home server. But the prefix is dynamic so I'm having to rush to change each record every time the power goes out or something. And if I'm outside the house I won't even be able to do that.

Confusingly, the configuration page asks for an "Internal IP" whereas the help button say "Global IP". I tried using fe80::<suffix> but that doesn't open the ports. Is there anyway I can do this without having to enter the changed global IP each time?

Dynamic IPv6 firewall configuration

I have an ISP provided TP-Link Archer C5. I have access to the IPv6 firewall page and I'm able to let traffic through for a single global IPv6 address which is my home server. But the prefix is dynamic so I'm having to rush to change each record every time the power goes out or something. And if I'm outside the house I won't even be able to do that.

The ISP is ACT and location Bangalore. I'm currently paying for static IPv4 but if I'm able to figure this out I can do without the static IP as I've already set up DDNS through my registrar. Only this is causing the server to go down everytime the power goes off and the inverter also fails once in a while.

DDNS IPv6 issues

I have a domain on Porkbun and I didn't realize for the longest time that I could do dynamic DNS through Porkbun API itself. I was under CGNAT and using only IPv6 but the dynamic prefix made me cave in and pay extra for static IPv4. I still want to figure out IPv6 on principle, but I'm having some issues.

I followed the DDNS guide on the Porkbun website and installed ddns-updater. If I set the configuration to IPv4, it updates the records with no issues, but I currently don't need IPv6 updates. The moment I change it to IPv6 in config.json, the updater does not go past the "[backup] disabled" message. I also don't understand the updater's IPv6 suffix JSON field and how to fill it so I tried different formats and in the end removed it as well so it would default to the temporary address instead of the permanent suffix.

Distro: Solus KDE

When characters move on screen, things and faces leave sort of afterimages. It's very disorienting to watch and I'm not sure how to record and show. I've tested the same file with my friend's Windows laptop and it doesn't happen there. I've also tried both Haruna and VLC media players and it's the same on both.
