I love all things Japan
I really like how this page came out. The background is basically no line coloring as the ink is a pale grey. I had to touch up with my pencils because some of the shapes got away from me. Learning more and more day by day.

Having fun playing with color this week. I usually like a limited color palette because I'm watercolorist. Alcohol markers are taking me out of my comfort zone and I'm really enjoying them.

Trying to improve skintones
I don't have many skintone markers so I improvised and added additional shading with my Prismacolors. I love the way the hair turned out, a bit disappointed in the skin. My dear sweet daughter just ordered me a skintone set. Whoo hooo for having adult children!

New to alchohol markers
Still learning how to blend with alcohol markers. My usual medium is watercolor and colored pencil. Challenging myself to color a page a day.
