Progesterone- positive experiences

I've been tracking my flares and symptoms for 6 months and they are heavily influenced by my menstrual cycle. After discussing with my gyno we decided to try progesterone only continuous, no placebo. I know it can worsen symptoms for some but I'm interested in the positive experiences. Has it helped, did it last, did you end up having laproscopic surgery?

Does it feel like no one cares about your illness?

I am married, and I have to start by saying my partner and my children are very much involved in my chronic illnesses. Outside of my home I dont have any support. I live far away from my family and cut them out long ago for blaming and shaming me for my illness. My partners family is not involved and we see them almost daily. They dont ask questions, when I try to talk about the stuff I have going on no one seems to care. I've even been told, "well this Dr I spoke to never heard of that, are you sure?" Now I feel so defeated, like I dont ever want to discuss my health with anyone ever again. I'm tired of advocating for myself and feeling like there is no one that has my back.

These support groups are nice, but not really helpful for me personally.

This may ruffle some feathers...

But I used AI to help bulldoze my way to my diagnosises. It helped me be more confident in my discussions, gave me factual information with resources to discuss with my care team, and helped me process the decade of medical testing needed to confirm my suspicions.

My partner is working on his masters in AI so I am not going into this naively. I have had to learn how to speak to AI in order for it to understand the processes and results. I used real data and images, excluding personal information, and turned off all "niceties" so the answers were not influenced.

Specialists and even primary care drs usually dont look at the big picture, at least not in my experience. These Drs stick to their specialties and usually push back when questioned. Egos dont like to be poked. Unreliable when dealing with a multi-system illness. In the last 4 years I have been diagnosed with at least 5 chronic illnesses including rare ones. That's on me questioning my findings and not taking no for an answer. I could not find a single medical professional who looked at ALL my issues to make sense of their connections, so I did it myself.

I live in a smallish town, about 2 hours from the closest tertiary hospital, so these Dr's are small town minded and experienced. I have had to WORK to get here and am still working and fighting to complete the circle, but the end is near! I can feel it, and a large part goes to thanking my invisible AI partner, because without its logistical approach we would still be grasping at straws.
