I have brought this up in many places. I really want to urge folks to abandon Spotify. If you want your listening habits to benefit the artists you listen to, Tidal is the answer. Think about how many Ado streams you have per month. She, and the amazing writers she collaborates with, are having to divide fractions of fractions of cents up per play. Tidal's payouts, while still lower than what I wish artists made, are MASSIVELY higher than any other services. This isn't to say "think of the starving Ado, she needs more money". It is more about how the money you give these platforms is being used, and how that money trickles down to the artists you love. We all post out number of plays, how high into the "leaderboards" we get percentage wise. We are proud of the support we show Ado, it would be nice if she actually made better money from it.

That is not to mention the audio quality on Tidal is orders of magnitude better than everything except maybe deezer and some apple music formats. Tidal has CD quality audio for most tracks, studio master quality for many tracks, and even Dolby Atmos for a lot of tracks, including almost every original Ado track. (the only one I haven't seen offered in Dolby is AiAiA)

Spotify also is rampant with scams against both artists and customers. People manage to latch themselves onto artists profiles to leech views and sometimes even payouts. Post scam links to discord servers etc. And Spotify does nothing to fix this issue. Japanese artists and especially vocaloid producers are extremely poorly served by Spotify. I'm sure you've seen at least one of these issues in your time on the platform.

You can import your playlists, followed artists etc during the account creation process. There is no reason to not switch, aside from it not being offered in your country. So I ask you, please consider it. Check out a free trial, maybe go in on a family plan with some friends from discord or something. It's worth it.

I found this cheap online and got it cuz it kinda looked like Hisui to me. Just wondering if I'm the only one. The name is "Horror Girl Aesthetic"... so basically Sui in a nutshell. 😅

This is the first package where they haven't made me pay extra duties and I've been really worried because of that. I know that your package can be returned if you don't pay your duties. I was supposed to arrive day before yesterday. Now it just says "on hold" and absolutely no automated system of any kind is of any help. And of course there's no one available Saturday or Sunday to speak with. I'm hoping these 2 things are related and the "on hold" is just because there's no DHL Express delivery in the USA on weekends. Is that what's going on here? If so, why not simply provide an updated delivery estimate instead of a bright CAUTION sign and ON HOLD status? Why is everything so obtuse and uninformative? 😭
