Let me just preface this by saying that i’m not an “original” Jackass fan. I only started watching Jackass about 3 months ago.
However, those last 3 months have meant alot to me. I binged the entire MTV show and all of the movies to prepare for this, and in the process it has become one of my favourite franchises of all time.

So, tonight was opening night for Best and Last in Australia and I went to go see it. I think this has to be probably the funniest cinema experience of my life. The whole cinema (including me) was absolutely cracking up at things like the Golf Course Airhorn.
On that note, I think I should talk about the old footage.
I absolutely loved the inclusion of old footage and the choice of making half the movie a “Greatest Hits”. I wasn’t even born before the first two movies, so being able to experience iconic Jackass history on the big screen was an amazing experience. I also loved how they included stuff that wasn’t in the movies or show. I’d always wanted to see the bulletproof vest Knoxville always talked about, and finally seeing Bam’s part in Silence of the Lambs was awesome. It really made the film feel like a celebration of the whole franchise.

As for the new stunts, I think it was classic Jackass fun. It was just like watching the old movies again and Steve-O’s ass having my whole cinema gasping was certainly an experience i’m unlikely to forget any time soon. Whilst not many of the new casts stunts ended up being in the movie, I think they’re all likeable and I enjoyed having them in the movie.

Overall, it was a funny but also bittersweet celebration of what i’ve spent the last 3 months of my life binging and working away at and i’ll forever be grateful that i got to experience Jackass with other people in a theatre. I’m not a professional writer or critic so this was just a fun little review of my thoughts on the movie.

i’m trying to get all the dvds and i can’t find an australian copy of 3.5 on bluray, but 3d, bad grandpa, .5, and forever all have blurays so i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it does exist

do we know if we are getting any physical pre-order bonuses for wolverine on the ps5 yet? just so i can decide whether to get it from EB or JB
