Static caravan: 3 pin to commando

Okay here goes: 13A socket to commando granny charger pulling 10A max. 32A incomer to caravan.

Installed by the on site spark, the second opinion spark can’t visit for another 2 weeks as it’s in the middle of nowhere and I’d like to charge the car this weekend when I visit. It’s been like this for 3yrs or so.

I’d rather not leave it like this, so what’s a good replacement for the obviously hot 13A plug? The ‘heavy duty’ version on screwfix gets mixed reviews. Anything else I can do in the meantime?

Recommend me a comfier saddle?

I’m doing more and more commuting on my bike, and I’m noticing a discomfort around my … Gentleman Area.

I’ve tried padded leggings which were ok, but are there more comfortable options for a saddle?

I looked at these big spongy things at Decathlon, the fella there said to avoid ones that are too wide, and they were all marked for a maximum of an hours use, so that’s no good to me.

Any recs? I bike mainly on paths, cobbles and roads for an hour plus.

Is buying used cars a hot mess these days?

I’ve had new cars since 2010, and given the way company car tax is, I’ve had to go electric. Im now in a godawful VW ID5 after years of owning VW/Audi/Porsche and doubt I’ll buy the brand again new.

So It’s lease end time and decided that life’s too short to drive something that I don’t ’like’ driving, and had a great time in my 2 Mk7 Golf’s (GTI PP and an R) so I went online and started looking at run out Mk7.5 R Estates.

Every one I came to had an issue. The two APPROVED VW ones were hiding something in their history. One had obviously been driven so fucking hard down to the tyre chords one MOT and the dealer hid the ‘launch count’ in the diag. A private sale one near me had a dodgy history and looked like it’d been nicked. One at another big dealer franchise was nearly £25k that looked like it had been clocked. I think I went through every one for sale in the UK, looking for a clean one that hadn’t been modded and I ran out of patience.

Is the UK used market broken or am I just looking for a car that gets a lot of abuse?
