Completed FPGA/CPLD chip replacement projects?

Seems to me that there is a reasonable amount of talk about building out replacement ICs using FPGA or CPLD. Certainly in the C64 world there is quite a large number of SID replacement projects.

But I'm not aware of too many completed projects for the Amiga. So far I've got these:

CIA

Amber

Gary

Assorted but mostly incomplete

Do people know of any more that are actually complete?

/r/Amiga AI Policy reiteration

We updated the subreddit rules a while ago to try and make it clear where we stand on the use of AI on the board. But I guess it isn't clear as we're now in a situation were readers are reporting every single post that either mentions AI or even seems passingly like AI might be involved. To clarify:

Not Allowed:

  1. Posts where the whole content (text, images) is generated by AI. That is, cutting and pasting the text Chat-GPT generated is not allowed
  2. Applications that are wholly vibe coded such that all (or very nearly all) lines of code were generated by an AI

Allowed

  1. Applications where AI was used for code assistance

All of which is to say, please stop reporting every single application that mentions that AI was used.

Pioneer DDJ-Rev7 Instant scratch "drift" issue

I recently picked up one of these and have just started using Instant Scratch to practice some techniques whenever can't be bothered to get my laptop.

But I've just noticed an issue where the start point of the sample starts to drift away from where I set it. On the left deck I had sample 4 (the beat pattern) just playing at 0 on the pitch. On the right I have sample 2, with my sticker set at 12 o'clock also at pitch zero. I've been drilling a pretty simple chirp to 1 click flare combo. After about 50-60 seconds I can see that the start of the sample has drifted "forward" so that the sticker has to be about 5 degrees forward to be at the start of the scratch. If i keep going it continues to drift forward.

My Rev 7 does have the latest firmware.

Is this a known issue and is there a fix? Feels like a calibration issue.
