So it looks like a special MMSD meeting is happening tonight to start the process of transferring One City Schools from being licensed under the UW office that Republicans mandated to being licensed under MMSD starting next year.

On the upside, One City staff would become MMSD employees. On the other hand, I don’t know how they’d deal with certain things like One City’s considerable outside funding.

Regardless of whether it is a good idea or not, district leadership seems to be trying to slip this under the radar. They only posted these notices in the last few days and I don’t see any news release.

I watched Mortal Kombat II on HBO Max last night and the game’s co-creator Ed Boon had a short but cute cameo in the movie.

And with the Zelda movie casting leaks this week, it got me thinking, you think we’ll see cameos by any of the Zelda creators in the film?

Miyamoto seems like the most likely as he is an active producer on the film and it seems like most of his energies are devoted to movies and theme park rides as opposed to game development these days. But I feel like other staff might have taken at least one flight down to New Zealand to visit the set.

If there are cameo(s), what do you think they should be?

I’d enjoy something quick like Link enters Hyrule Castle Town for the first time and passes through a bazaar. One tent is operated by a familiar looking man selling masks, maybe he even has a brief interaction with Link.
