What if Kurt Angle had never left WWE in 2006?

For this to make sense, the first thing is that Kurt asks Vince for some time off until November and manages to overcome his addiction. He returns at Survivor Series in a Triple Threat match against Batista and King Booker, where Batista would be crowned champion. Runs ECW winning the ECW and pass the torch to Punk in Mania. Gets drafted to SD and have a TLC Match with Edge and a Dream Match with Batista. After that, starts a feud with Mysterio

Story of World Heavyweight Championship (Part 3: The Animal arrives, end of Reign of Terror)

After Randy Orton wins his first World Championship, Hunter regains the title just a month later, beginning his reign of terror once again, although this time the journey is much better with the best Elimination Chamber oat. After that, Batista ends his reign in a great rivalry after getting himself over on his own. He defeats HHH three times in a row and moves to SmackDown, where he squashes JBL several times and has a legendary rivalry with Eddie Guerrero.
However, he gets injured toward the end of the year and, in January, is forced to vacate the title.

Story of World Heavyweight Championship (Part 2: Goldberg & Crippler stopping the terror)

After the worst part of the Reign of Terror, Goldberg briefly saves us from HHH, but Hunter wins the title back. He has a classic with HBK at the Rumble, but loses it to Benoit in one of the best main events ever. His reign is pretty mid, although he has some good defenses, like the rematch at Backlash, but HHH overshadows him on RAW. Orton beats him for the title at SummerSlam and, for a moment, it seems like we’ve finally gotten rid of Hunter.

Story of World Heavyweight Championship (Part 1: Peak of the Reign of Terror)

Aside from the first Elimination Chamber and the Three Stages of Hell match, this is a completely awful year. They buried Rob Van Dam when he was insanely over, gave us the Katie Vick storyline, the painfully boring feud with Scott Steiner, the brutal burial of Booker T following a racist promo, the worst feud of all time against Kevin Nash (in fucking 2003, no less), took Kane’s mask off, and killed Goldberg’s momentum in the Elimination Chamber.
Triple H’s ego reached astronomical levels here. The only genuinely noteworthy thing he did was his feud with Shawn Michaels.

Dream Matches that could have happened but never did

- Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan: WrestleMania X8, this match is the clearest example of all, but Austin thought they wouldn’t have good chemistry, so it never happened. They only shared the ring in a Handicap Match: Rock and Austin vs. the nWo.
- The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels: WrestleMania XX, before The Rock left for Hollywood, this match could have happened, but issues from the past meant that Rock never wanted to work with HBK. The closest we ever got was a Sweet Chin Music during that legendary Iron Man Match.
- Batista vs. Brock Lesnar: WrestleMania XXX, this match actually happened, but in OVW back in 2001. By the time Batista became a star in 2005, Brock had left the company a year earlier. When Brock returned in 2012, Batista had been gone since 2010. They only crossed paths in 2014, when they had a segment on the RAW after the Royal Rumble. It is believed that the original plan was for Batista to win at Mania and then lose the title to Brock at SummerSlam.
- Goldberg vs. John Cena: they've never interacted, and it surprises me that it never occurred to them to make this match happen.
- Triple H vs. Rey Mysterio: they spent so many years in the same company and never had a one-on-one match. The closest we ever got was that hour-long Royal Rumble match in 2006.

What if Brock Lesnar had never left WWE in 2004?

WrestleMania XX: Since he never left the company, he easily defeats Goldberg, and Stone Cold never hits him with a Stunner.

Judgment Day 04': Undertaker wins clean, but after the match, Lesnar brutally attacks him, leaving him injured and sidelined for several weeks.

The Great American Bash 04': He demands a rematch against Eddie. He wins with the help of a distraction from Kurt and becomes champion once again. After the match, Taker returns, attacks him and challenges him to a match at SummerSlam.

Summerslam 04': Lesnar hits Taker with a low blow while the referee isn’t looking and retains the title. 1-1

No Mercy 04': In a Hell in a Cell match, Taker finally defeats Lesnar in an even better match than their 2002 encounter, becoming the WWE Champion.

After this, Lesnar decides to take a break because he’s exhausted from being a full-time wrestler, which was the reason he left in real life.

Armageddon 04': His return is announced for this match, and he gets a massive pop when he comes back. He defeats JBL, who in this What If is never a world champion, but still gets a character change and becomes a very important midcarder on SmackDown.

Royal Rumble 05': He wins the Royal Rumble again, eliminating John Cena last. Batista is also part of the Final Four, although in this timeline, he is somewhat relegated to the background.

WrestleMania 21: To everyone’s surprise, he chooses Triple H as his opponent for WrestleMania. He defeats him and puts an end to the Reign of Terror.

- Summerslam 2011: Punk vs. HHH (Mysterio gets his rematch at Summerslam, Cena wins)
- Night of CHAMPIONS 2011: Punk vs. Cena with HHH as Referee. Punk controversial win
- Hell in a Cell 2011: Punk vs. Cena in a Hell in a Cell Match. Punk wins clean, Awesome Truth attack him and del Rio cashes his MITB on Punk
- Vengeance 2011: Del Rio vs. Punk vs. Cena, Del Rio wins with help from Awesome Truth, who attack Cena just as he is about to win. Cena had already knocked Punk out with an AA through the announce table and was moments away from making Del Rio tap out to the STF.
- Survivor Series 2011: Beginning of 434 Days

Rebooking The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak

WrestleMania VII (1991): The British Bulldog, Davey had just returned to the WWF, and instead of having an irrelevant match against The Warlord, he would face Taker. The win over Snuka gave Taker some credibility, but the match itself was boring. (1-0)

WrestleMania VIII (1992): Jake "The Snake" Roberts. (2-0)

WrestleMania IX (1993): Razor Ramon, Razor had just come in and made a big impact against Savage and Perfect, then went on to face Bret for the title at the Rumble. This match would be very interesting. (3-0)

WrestleMania XI (1995): Owen Hart (with Ted DiBiase) (4-0)

WrestleMania XII (1996): Diesel (5-0)

WrestleMania 13 (1997): Shawn Michaels (Title vs Streak). HBK would never lose his smile, and he would put the title on the line against Taker, who would win the Rumble instead of Stone Cold. (6-0) Instant Classic

WrestleMania XIV (1998): Kane (7-0)

WrestleMania XV (1999): Ken Shamrock (Ministry vs Corporation) (8-0)

WrestleMania X-Seven (2001): Triple H (9-0)

WrestleMania X8 (2002): Ric Flair (10-0)

WrestleMania XIX (2003): Chris Benoit (11-0) #1 Contender for WWE Championship

WrestleMania XX (2004): Brock Lesnar (12-0). Taking advantage of Goldberg and Lesnar leaving WWE, Vince takes the opportunity to have a mysterious newcomer attack Goldberg and leave him knocked out backstage. The Deadman returns and squashes Lesnar in five minutes, proving that he’s back stronger than ever.

WrestleMania 21 (2005): Randy Orton (13-0)

WrestleMania 22 (2006): Kurt Angle. Batista doesn’t get injured and replaces Angle in the Triple Threat that happened in real life. This rivalry starts at the Royal Rumble after Taker eliminates Angle. Angle wins at No Way Out, and Taker wins this rematch. (14-0)

WrestleMania 23 (2007): Batista (Title vs Streak) (15-0)

WrestleMania XXIV (2008): Edge (Title vs Streak) (16-0)

WrestleMania 25 (2009): Shawn Michaels (17-0)

WrestleMania XXVI (2010): Shawn Michaels (Career vs Streak) (18-0)

WrestleMania XXVII (2011): Triple H (19-0)

WrestleMania XXVIII (2012): Triple H, End of an Era (20-0)

WrestleMania 29 (2013): The Rock, Undertaker costs The Rock the match against Punk at the Royal Rumble because he believes Rock’s ego is holding back the current generation after beating Cena at the previous WrestleMania, humiliating Bryan on RAW 1000, and trying to take the title away from Punk. He isn’t respecting the new era after ending it the year before. (21-0)

WrestleMania XXX (2014): Brock Lesnar (21-1). Lesnar gets his revenge for what happened in 2004, and Undertaker retires here after building toward this match throughout the entire year, resulting in a much better match than the one we got in real life. I consider this the perfect retirement, as almost everything that came after he lost the Streak somewhat tarnished his legacy.
