I am very used to ERG mode

I usually do a lot of indoor training and carry most of my structured training indoors. I enjoy it and find it very effective to get those sessions in. However, I think I am very used to ERG mode, and I am not really able to get out proper training sessions outdoors, specially in those long and constant efforts such as holding Z2- Z3 power. I mainly view my outdoor rides as base-building and social rides because I am not really able to hold high target power numbers consistently, although I feel I could go way harder outdoors than indoors.

Do you have any tips on how to hold steady power outdoors?

First time taking my road bike to work

I commute by bike everyday, using my city bike. I got tired of it and decided to take my race bike to work today since the weather was nice and I want to ride a longer route on the way back home. It totally made a difference! My commute was much more fun and definitely faster.

So my advice: ride a fun bike to work, it will make your commute 10x better and you’ll be in a better mood :)

Sea post help!! Which offset should I buy

Hello everyone. I need to change my bike's seatpost because I found a tiny crack in the carbon. My current seatpost has a 15mm offset, but I am only able to find 0mm and 20 mm offset replacements. I think my saddle is currently slammed forward in the 15 mm offset seatpost, but I am not sure whether to focus on the top or bottom clamp (look at the pics). I currently find this position very comfortable, and I don't experience any pain on long rides.

So will I be able to mimic this position with a 0 or 20 mm offset seatpost?

Is it normal for a seat tube to be this dirty??

I got a second hand bike and I removed the components and cleaned it, however, when I removed the seat post it looked like it was buried down the beach or something. Is it normal for the seat tube to be this dirty?

I had a nasty crash the other day and the bars slammed the top tube. I want to know if it is safe to ride or what to look for long term. My mechanic says that it is safe to ride as the dent is smooth and not that deep, and does not have any cracks, but I would like to know other opinions. It looks worse than it is because of the white mark, but that is the scratch from the impact with the bars.
