I'd argue 1992-1998. Post-municipal complex/library but pre-Target, which for me marks the death toll. High school was still surrounded by cornfields, and there were no subdivisions on Olio. Deer Creek was Deer Creek. Fishers Freedom Festival was hot and the pool at the YMCA barn on Allisonville was ice cold.

The bottom photo shows the part I need to replace (left side) the little piece of plastic hat stops the slider from popping up and tipping the whole thing forward broke off. The top photo shows the right side, which is not broken. What is this part called?
What is most interesting to you about US maps? What are you curious about? As an American, whenever I get a US map I'm shocked at how ugly and soulless many of our towns look, does a non-US player have that perspective?
I just got back into geogeussr after a few years not playing, what's the deal with being accused of googling these days! I get a message "nice google" after every OBVIOUS plonk. There was a giant sign for GOTENBERG and then I obviously went to right to Gotenberg and won and the guy was like NICE GOOGLE and I was like YOU SAW THE SIGN TOO??!!!!
Same happened with Darwin in N. Australia. Giant water tower that said DARWIN so I went right to it! guy LOST it in the chat.
I'm fine with being accused of googling when I pull seriously amazing niche guesses out of my hat (one time I got my home town...so I was within a half mile instantly...) but this is ridiculous!
They must not have had this messaging feature when I used to play, because this is very weird and annoying (I'm sure there's a mute I gotta figure out...)
