Adjustment period, currently day 3

I just started on .8 this weekend and am on day 3. It is definitely helping a ton with my morning hunger already it seems like (usually within an hour after waking I’m very hungry).

I am curious about everyone’s adjustment periods, how long it took them before they felt they reached a “norm” for side effects, understanding how your body feels on the medication day to day etc. I had a mild frontal headache the last two days in the mornings and had read with some GLP-1s people have this for a week and then it tapers off as they adjust.

One thing I noticed last night was that after dinner I felt BOTH full and hungry which was kind of frustrating lol. I’m wondering if anyone had the same early on and found it tapered off quickly? Like that feeling that I can tell my stomach is full and my body doesn’t NEED more but the “top” of my stomach is giving me the hunger pangs. Loosely tracked on the weekend for protein/fiber but am using a real tracker starting today and logging all of it, to make sure diet is balanced.

Also… I already have medium-fine hair that’s not very dense, so how many of you experienced the hair loss side effect? Should I just go ahead and tack on biotin to my vitamin routine preemptively?

Weirdly specific—NoMad-ish takeout that is still good cold after a party?

Bear with me! I’m an out of towner who comes in every December for a work holiday party in NoMad. It’s always on a Thursday and because I’m involved in setup I can’t have a “real” sit down dinner before the party, so the past couple years I’ve gone to Stretch Pizza on Park Ave for lunch then taken half the pizza back to my hotel (which has a mini fridge but NO microwave) to eat cold pizza when I get back at 2am after the party and am starving and need to soak up the booze in my body 😂

Well today I just saw the news that Stretch is closing at the end of July!! I am really bummed out. It was so cozy there and I really enjoyed the pizza both hot and cold. Do yall have recommendations for places to fill the role for me that Stretch is vacating in that area?

There is a LOT to do the day of the party so I am mostly limited to places I can quickly walk near NoMad. Because I’m so limited in the time I am there, it would be nice if it wasn’t just a super greasy $2 pizza joint or a convenience store sandwich lol. Doesn’t even have to be pizza at all! Just anything that’s still good as cold leftovers and involves some form of carb that won’t be an hour or more long meal time out of a busy day. I find that a lot of places in this neighborhood are closed on Thursday nights by the time I get out of the party (and tbh, I’m too buzzed and tired to sit down somewhere even if something was open).

I don’t get to travel much so it is nice when I can make the most out of my NYC trip every year and get to enjoy fun restaurants and cafes instead of just national chain crap.
