I had couple of email account, which I stopped accessing, due to which they were was deleted. I was able to recover one account, but I am not able to recover the other accounts.

Continuing from the above, when i go to sign-in to my old account, i get the "We couldn't find an account with that username. Try another, or get a new Microsoft account." message. Then when I go to sign-up to make a new account with the same credentials, I get the message "That username is taken. Try another one."
Conflict of interest, on one side it tells me no account found, but then it says username taken. How to I recover my account? I know all my data will be deleted and I am OK with that, but I want to be able to take back my account.
I was able to follow the same steps and recover an account i created back in 2000, but this other account I am not able to recover.
