I’ve noticed a pattern. Some of the lions I’ve put up over the years, if I have no idea of their worth, I’ll write that in the trade. I don’t know why, it just feels like the natural thing to do.
Every time I have, people offer really low. I wrote it for a good Mngwa (when Mngwas were first added and worth around 20-40gb) and people offered junk and ~100sb. It just recently clicked why this was happening.
I have a chased Ganache up right now, and had originally written that I wasn’t sure of her worth. Someone offered a muddy rat, someone offered 1gb, someone offered 75sb… There’s a G2 Ganache up for 15gb right now.
I thought maybe it was just new players… The last few offers I checked were done by people who had been playing for years.
If people think you are a new player learning the market, they will take advantage :(
i saved up 10,000sb to put towards a random raffle, just for fun. i finally chose one, bought thousands of tickets, and was super excited! i had a fair chance of winning and the lion was gorgeous, i had my fingers crossed. even if i didn’t win, i was still excited because it was fun!
they cancelled it and put the lion up for trade instead, with a buyout hundreds of gb worth :(
why do people do this? i know they can and it’s not against the rules, but it’s super disappointing to everyone who buys tickets.
