Hot take: I don’t mind the time-gated progression(with exceptions)

So before I begin, I 100% believe it could be done better and I definitely don’t want to wait to play the game. Now for the positives, I love the competition it allows on the leaderboards. It puts everyone on a similar playing field with a max account and character level. This means you have to utilize the resources you have access to instead of constantly trying to “out grind” your opponent. A great example is the world boss. Instead of grinding to make a few units as strong as possible and it coming down to who has more time on their hands, you are now incentivized to try out different combinations of characters and different strategies. Now I understand I don’t speak for everyone, just a regular dude who doesn’t have the time to keep up with the best of em. But I still love competition and have been grinding leaderboards. Before I conclude, I understand my argument can be dismantled by the game being pay to win, but in my experience I haven’t been seeing that(at least in my region). With R’s and SR’s being as good as they are, maxing out them can keep up with most SSR’s. Other opinions are welcome. Just not understanding a lot of the hate. Some, but not all.

Can someone explain this Painboy ability?

I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but I don’t quite understand this ability. Do you let your leader die and bring it back? Does it bring it back on 1 wound or d3 wounds? If the former then why you roll d3 if there’s only one other bodyguard? Can this be used after the painboy is destroyed? New to warhammer and orks and see painboy as a popular support and wondered why. The FNP is nice but is it better than 5+ invuln given by the Banner Nob? Maybe somebody can help me see the light! Appreciate the help

Ghost Ark vs Doomsday Ark in 11th edition?

Is there one that is arguably better than the other? Or do they each serve their own purpose well? Love the model but didn’t know which one to get/build.
