Spikes on second string?

Hey, gang.
I'm a clawhammer player and I play in Bsus2 tuning. Some songs I play are easer in a standard major tuning and some are easier in sawmill. Is it practical to get railroad spikes for the second string to quickly change the second string so I don't have to leave a finger on the fret all the time or is that going to make it very difficult to fret when playing in Sus2? Is there another solution that anyone has found to this problem or am I alone and need to just deal with it

String Recommendations, B tuning

Hey gang,
I’m looking at buying a pair of gut strings online. I always bought steel since that’s what my local store carries but I’d like to try nylon or gut strings. I play an open back Recording King and I play in B E F# B
It’s a five string but the fifth string broke. Does anyone have a set they recommend that will match the tension properly?

Debris

Hey, gang. I’m making my second roast beef with debris and I’d like to get some input. Last time I made it I made a roux at the very end and used some of the stock from slow cooking to make a very very thick gravy, then incorporated that into my roast. Is this traditionally done at the beginning to incorporate while slow cooking or at the end?

1988 XJ6 L

Hey gang,
This is my first Jag. My girlfriend saw it on Marketplace when I was sort of looking at cars. She liked it and I’m weak so I bought it for 800 dollars. It runs and drives somehow but the radiator is cracked, the water line leaks, and 2 of the fuel injectors work. The engine is slightly flooded because the guy who owned it left it open in the rain while he was working on it. The inside just needs a little TLC. Also it’s stuck in anti theft mode. What am I in for? I know nothing about cars.
Her dad is a mechanic and told me to get it because the body alone would be worth more than what I paid for it, not to mention the fact that it is a working classic, and it’s just going to be a weekender for us. He’s going to do all the work on it for me for free so long as I pay for the parts, but I’m at a point where I don’t really know what to ask, I know nothing about cars and even less about Jaguars other than they’re super cool.
What do I have, I guess is the question, and how do I get it out of anti theft mode?

Hey y’all,
recently I made a post about woofers as I was just going to let the shop do everything with the door speakers. They recommended Memphis. My cousin offered to do the install for me for free as I was going to visit him anyway, and he’s done a number of installs for himself and his friends. Now I have no idea what to buy in terms of an amplifier or speakers. I have a 2019 Toyota 4Runner SR5 with factory speakers, not the JBL setup. I have 2 dash speakers, 4 door speakers, and 2 hatch speakers. What amp and speakers should I buy for around 800? A little wiggle room on that but I’d prefer not to go above 1000 after taxes and all that since I’ll have to spend a good bit on gas to get to him. I’d like to get good mids and highs (especially low mids) but I’m not super concerned with bass. I’d also like to get at least 130 db’s but more is better in my case. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hey gang, I’m completely new to car audio, but I’m a musician. I’m trying to put a sub in my car at some point, I’m really into music like QOTSA, The Gun Club, so I’m looking for a sub that’s going to cut through and hit you in the chest, not make my windows rattle exclusively. What kind of sub should I get? My friend suggested a Punch 300 and to stay away from 12” subs because they get muddy. I have a 410 bass cab at home I love so I was thinking 8-10” but would a 212 sub be a bad idea for hard rock and some metal?
