Termite Prevention - why don't we see more Boric Acid used?

Boric acid treatment is 100% effective against subterranean termites, and it lasts multiple decades. The treatment is also very inexpensive compared to other options. Given that boric acid is arguably the effective prevention, the cheapest option, and the longest-lasting...... why is this not universally applied to lumber frames? Why do builders choose other treatments at all?

Edit: this question is in regards to termite prevention treatments completed during the build process

What did you all think of the manifesto being debunked?

The writing was debunked by a data scientist soon after the murder occurred. The debunking can be found here:

cremieux.xyz/p/grading-the-worlds-shortest-manifesto

Very interesting just how surface-level this debunking is, if you started with zero prior beliefs and began a search for truth in our healthcare system you'd very easily end up agreeing with cremieux. Why so many fans of the original manifesto?

How can America be "stolen land" for the majority of us with lineage tracing back many generations, while also a "birthright" to babies born to birth tourists who are only here for a short stint for the purpose of citizenship for their newborn?

If colonizing Africa would lead to millions of lives being saved, would you support it?

After the fallout from speculation around USAID cuts potentially leading to deaths, I have to wonder how much better the African nations would fare with western systems, safety nets, infrastructure, law enforcement, and defense. If lives stand to be saved, would you support colonization?

If one believes that America is required to tax its citizens to pay for ambulances around the world, what conceivable limiting principle is there?

Elon asked (on X) for somebody to name a person who actually died due to Doge cuts. So somebody speaks up and says a woman died because USA "stopped paying for diesel fuel for the ambulances in her part of Liberia."

Where does this principle stop? At what point is any death anywhere not our fault?

How can you believe "people wouldn't do crimes if their basic needs were met" while also believing that "greedy rich people are stealing from everyone?" Can anyone coherently explain how both can be true?

How can the same person hold both statements to he true at the same time?

In the absence of resolving this glaring discrepancy, it would seem that an explanation for both to be true in the same person's mind would be simple: envy, resentment, and a lack of belief in agency.
