For the life of me, I cannot figure this out. I have absolutely read and followed the documentation for this process, and the local query still will not resolve. I know the query forwarding is set up right along with the port assignment of 53, and 53,053. I’ve turned off allow fall back to system servers. It doesn’t mention that in this in the documentation, but under the interface option in dnsmasq, do I somehow need to select the loop back interface there, which is not currently an option. Any other ideas?

I am trying to get the speakup kernal screen reader working for access in the terminal shells. I have installed espeakup and espeak-ng, enabled the espeakup service, as well as the speakup_soft module. The service is shown as active, but yet when I switch to one of the terminal shells, nothing comes on. I’ve read the documentation, which is all very old. Can anybody help with this? Thanks

Desperately hoping someone can help here. I have been trying to set up the bridge app in a LXC container in Proxmox using a Debbie and template. I have created the GPG key, verified it, initialized pass, and verified that as well. I have even went the extra step to specifically set the PaASSWORD_STORE_DIR to the specific directory just to make sure it’s pointing to the right location. I am also setting it up as the route user at this point just to make sure there are no permission errors. And every time I open up the bridge app, I get all kinds of errors telling me it can’t find any valid keychain or password service. What am I doing wrong? Appreciate any help.

I am currently running version 26.1.9. I am trying to disable route login, and password authentication under the SSH administration page. When I deselect these options, and then hit save, I get the message that the settings have been applied. And on that page, they still showed deselect it. However, when I leave that Paige, and then navigate back, they have reverted back to the original setting. There is nothing showing in the history page that a change has been made, there is no change to the config.XML file. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

I do apologize in advance of this seems like a simple question as I am recently knew to OPNsense. But I am really confused about the OpenVPN setup. I have added the CA from the OVPN file to the authority list. I have added the key under the new static key menu option and configured all of the other port IP settings appropriately. But I am not seeing any option, peer to peer or otherwise, that can point back to the CA. And I am also not seeing any additional options filled to add any additional options from the OVP in file. I have read through dozens of guides, and asked multiple AI services and still cannot make sense of what is going on here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

From what I’ve read on proton support pages, is the only option for importing to use the browser extension? No option for the iOS app, desktop, or even Web UI? I do not use browser extensions for passwords or anything else. Am I really being forced to install a browser extension just to do an import?

I am running the latest update for Ubuntu 26.04, along with the latest snap package. With the new update, it completely breaks the orca screen reader accessibility. There are keyboard traps, lost focus handling, both of which require re-launching. on top of the fact that you can’t even select a list item and then get to any of its options. Please do better testing in the future before release, and please release a fix as quick as possible. This is now completely unusable and I am now stuck using the web version.

So I have chosen the manual drive set up during installation, and I am not currently seeing any option to encrypt the specific partition. Is this not available for the setup option?, or am I just missing something? Is anyone aware of us situation that could be causing it to be gone?

Of note, I am blind and using a screen reader for the installation, but I have also had a sided person verify the best they can (not very technical) that it is not present either.

Issue: with voiceover active, double tapping any of the Authenticator items does not open up the associated pop-up/context menu to edit, copy etc.
