My dad just told me about how his grandfather, born in 1860, watched boxing on TV and complained they didn't follow the The Marquess of Queensberry Rules

The Queensberry Rules were created in 1867, so I just talked to a man who remembers a conversation with someone older than those rules who also watched boxing on a television. He walked into my dad's living room around 1955, saw a fight on TV, and didn't like that they were throwing "rabbit punches" to the back of the head.

I am 46, so if I am able to live to 99 like my great grandfather, this post will remain accurate until 2079.

Suggested reading to understand the formulations of relation(s) of nature and grace?

Specifically if it could help me understand some of the differences between east and west on this issue, related to synergia and "pure nature".

Please help by suggesting any books, articles, even potentially a video if it's particularly high quality, but I generally think something written is best.

Thank you!

Is it accurate to say that 73 books is the "floor" for Catholics but not the "ceiling"?

I don't know how else to interpret or explain e.g. that the Ethiopian Catholic Church uses the same books as the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, including Enoch and several others. Or how Syriac Churches use the Peshitta which has the additional Maccabees and Esdras. As far as I know, most or all Byzantine churches use the Septuagint.

Of course you can debate the word "use" in terms of liturgical reading/chanting, translations of Bibles, how texts are placed within a book.

Which makes me wonder if many of us (I attend a Byzantine rite church so take it as self criticism if you prefer) talk about the Bible incorrectly in these common Protestant vs. Catholic 66 vs. 73 sort of discussions?

And wow the Grand Battle box is a chonky boi.

Looking forward to doing a 6 player game sometime, only ever did 1 or 2 player before. Not sure EPIC really needed to be made considering this larger expansion honestly but love the series regardless.
