I tried to make the base look like wood instead of plastic. But I just couldn't quite get it nailed down.
I have paid the utilities and internet along with half the rent for almost 10 years because i made almost twice as her pay. I never once complained or wanted her to pay that stuff even though I paid more than $30,000 more than her over the years. Anyways, it didn't work out about a month ago, and I broke up with her. She has gone out every night since we broke, which is fine, I want her to go out and meet new people. But since she has started going out all night and spending money, I asked her if she could start paying for her half of the utilities and internet. Now she is having an absolute fit saying that im being "petty" and that it's only because she is going out. In reality, I would be saying the same thing if she spent money at home constantly. Am I the bad guy? What should I do?
We've been talking pretty heavy for over a month, lots in common, she's really great. But we are long distance, 6 hours away. Have already driven over to see her a couple of times. The time that we are together is great. But, We work opposite shifts, so the time slots we can talk and text are limited some days. And I try to put in lots of effort to talk to her when we are apart. but she doesn't really do the same a whole lot. Which doesn't feel too great. Should I just back off? I dont want to lose it, but I dont want to feel like my effort isn't being matched.
