Getting "loop detected" and "port blocked" messages in my logs on my switches

The first device (MAC ending in EA) is an SG2008P switch. The other device (MAC ending in 6B) is an SG2428P switch. They're connected via the ports that keep being blocked (port 8 on the small switch, port 11 on the big switch).

The other ports referenced (port 1 on the small switch and 15 on the big one) are both connected to EAP-225 and 245 access points, running over POE.

Any idea why it'd be saying there's loops detected? There are no physical ethernet loops. I have rebooted the whole system and it keeps coming back. But despite all the messages in the logs, everything is working normally. The access points work, every device on the network, wired or wireless, has connectivity.

One feeder having issues - is this movement in the gears inside normal?

I've had my U1 since the first shipment of Kickstarter units and it's been great. Recently one of the feeders has started having issues. It's made worse since I've moved to external spools and have much longer PTFE lines going to the machine, so when the feeder doesn't work, it's annoying to manually push the filament through.

I took the one with issues apart. There's quite a bit of movement of the central shaft (vertical in the photos). You can see in the two pictures how much it can move up and down. Is that normal? It seems like it should have the worm gear aligned to the other gear. Any way to fix this or do I just need a new feeder unit? I don't see any other problems inside.

edit: Both photos are the same unit, just with it slid up and down. I just took both feeders apart to compare them. They look visually the same. Both do have the vertical movement in the shaft. However, the "bad" unit moves the whole shaft (brass gears, white part, and the black part at the top that flips left and right to move the feeder itself) and it moves freely up and down. The "good" one only moves the brass gear section, while the white and black parts stay still, and it feels spring-loaded. It always moves back to the "down" position as oriented in the pictures.

Trip report - first time visitor 4/23/06

edit: typo in the title. I was there 4/23/26, not twenty years ago

For context, I've lived in Ohio my whole life. I grew up with season passes, practically living at Kings Island in the 80s and 90s. We still get season passes. I've also been to Cedar Point several times, plus Universal and Disney in Florida. I'm now in my late 40s, and a fairly big guy (6'3", 275 lbs).

I decided to take advantage of my all parks pass to visit some new parks and ride coasters I've never been on. I flew from Ohio to LA on Wednesday night (getting there around midnight LA time), went to a hotel, and then came to KBF at opening on that Thursday. I stayed almost till close, then drove to Magic Mountain to go there Friday.

Here's my thoughts on KBF as someone who's never been there:

Overall, it is a great park. I had a fantastic time. I'm shocked at how much is crammed into the space - it felt big enough despite being only 60 acres compared to Kings Island's 365 acres! I deliberately came before school was out, so the crowds were not bad at all. I think ~30 minutes for Ghostrider was my longest wait of the day. Many rides were walk-on.

I was at the "rope" headed to Ghostrider at opening, just a few people from the front. I did notice that almost no one other than the staff did anything when the national anthem played - at Kings Island, EVERYONE stops and turns to the flag, even people still walking from the parking lot. At KBF, everyone around me just kept talking.

Ghostrider - 9.5. Mystic Timbers is one of my favorite all time rides, so I was not surprised to love this. The ride is great, but the operations were slow. I rode it first thing and came back in the late afternoon for a second ride before I left.

Hangtime - 8.0. This is a great ride crammed into a tiny space. A LOT of intensity for the size. I loved the hang at the drop. I did find it a little nauseating (I'm getting old and can't handle as much as I used to) but not too bad. And I'm sure with a crowd the line can get long with the tiny trains, but it was a walk-on when I rode it.

Xcelerator - 8.0. This is a great launch and a fun ride. It was on 1 train ops, so the wait was a little slow, but not unbearable since the park was empty. I was in the middle for my first ride and came back later in the day for a second ride in the front row.

Jaguar - 4.0. This was fine, but very forceless. I'm curious why they keep this one running. It seems like the space could be used for something much better. The queue entrance is cool, but the ride is meh.

Sky Cabin - I went up in this after eating lunch just to have a few minutes to digest. The operator was great and entertaining (there were only 2 of us on the ride, so the op just talked to us).

Silver Bullet - 6.0. It's fine, but I'm used to Banshee, so this was short and small 😄 The last inversion and helix over the water were pretty intense.

Bear-y Tales - Did 2 rides on this too. It's a nice shooting dark ride that was fun. However, who came up with the terrible "pull the string" triggers? Toy Story Mania does it too, and it's bad there as well.

Coast Rider - 1.0. This ride was TERRIBLE. It just hurt the whole time. The restraints are bad, and then it just bangs you around. I know that's what a wildmouse is designed to do, but this one is not good.

Calico Railroad - Nice train ride. Not much to see for a lot of it, going between the park perimeter and the backside of buildings, so I get why they have the robber on the train. It definitely helped.

Pony Express never opened the day I was there. I also skipped Sierra Sidewinder, since I can't handle a ton of spinning any more.

Overall, I loved the park. It was a great visit. My only real complaint was having to pay for parking, since I only have a gold pass.
