Enduro 3. Screen protector or no?
I see varying things about the sapphire glass. I hear it’s virtually scratch proof and then I see someone saying theirs easily scratched. Will a screen protector diminish the solar?

Just got my fenix 7x (gorilla glass) and to be honest… it’s a little heavy , but I love it. That said… I’m now aware of the enduro 3. Which has sapphire glass, lighter, better battery and better solar. And the newer UI (which is the lowest of my concerns). I got the fenix for 650 and I can get the enduro for 750. Do I return the fenix and get the enduro? My only concern is the thickness of the enduro. The fenix looks great on my wrist.
Getting a fenix 7x pro tomorrow. I thought I had all my research sorted out as to what is to be expected coming from an Apple Watch… then I came across the info that the garmin connect app has to be running in the background the whole time? Will this severely impact iPhone battery drain? I would assume most my app notifications will be over Bluetooth (shouldn’t drain all that much) but will a weather widget on the watch constantly ping location on my iPhone? One of the biggest advantages of going with garmin was the battery life…. But I don’t want to trade a dead Apple Watch for a dead iPhone lol.
Will garmin honor warranties from eBay vendors? I’m guessing not? Found a decent priced 7x pro sapphire on eBay “new”. But I’m also worried about buying from eBay these days.
Fenix 7x pro btw. I’m not really in a rush.. but when I start looking, I get to buying lol. Unfortunately I can’t find any of the 7s with sapphire for a decent price but I can still find a pro for 650. Should I pull the trigger or maybe wait for Black Friday and possibly get an 8?
When I’ve googled.. I see there were issues with the first gen pros where you would get some crackling sounds. Especially in anc. I’ve had the pro 2s for several years and I’m starting to get some cracking when listening low frequency bass. Battery life is still great and these have been flawless until now. I’ve thoroughly cleaned them as well. Can this be fixed? At what cost?
