How do I clean stinky beak sheaths?
The skull they belong to is close to finishing, but the sheaths are pretty stinky when I thaw them out from the freezer. I saw someone say soak in acetone for a few days, but that seems very risky and quite possibly the exact opposite of what I think I should do lol.

Could I get an id on this guy possibly? Found in Northern New Mexico.
I know it may be difficult since it still has so much skin and flesh mummified on it
