Cat feline depression?

Hi, looking for some advice and information to prepare me for my cats upcomming vet visit.

I belive my cat is suffering from feline depression and anxiety, for some history when cloud was a year old he lost his littermate, thunder, he had to be put to sleep, i honestly dont know what was wrong with thunder, but he got incredibly poorly, cloud didn't see thunders body so I'm not sure he knows thunder died. Originally i belived clouds behavior was typical grief, him and thunder were a bonded pair and never left eachothers side, its been 4 years since, he's underweight, has a physical adversion to touch and is quite closed off, hes highly alert and anxious, before he lost his brother he was a highly affectionate and confident cat, hes a fully intact male tho which i belive exasperates this problem but i dont belive its the root cause

I know ive left it far to long to seek professional advice but he is booked in at the vets to discuss his behavior (aswell as being nutured), how do the vets go about this sort of thing, what should i expect to happen at the appointment?

Looking for cover up ideas for two badly done tattoos (one being a silly stick n poke), first tattoo is a pair of scissors located on my thumb, 2nd is my cats pawprints and name on my forearm takeing up majority of that area lol

How do i stop the neighbours children from entering my garden?

For some background, i cant speak to my neighbours about it for multiple reasons,

I don't know were these kids live and i suffer from selective mutism and other disabilities one being severe anxiety (i dont leave the house), ive tried speaking to my dad about the kids constantly comming into my garden and he won't do anything about it as it "doesn't bother him" but its stresses me out, ive tried asking him to get some gates put on the driveway and he said no as he "doesn't want to" ive tried reading other reddit posts about this and looked at peoples responces on how to stop this but none seme possible for my situation i have no idea what i can do. Things like motion activated sprinklers aren't an option because i have cats i dont know what else to add to be honest any afforable advice which i can do on my own because i dont have the support of my dad would help.

EDIT: from what ive got from most of the replies is that theres not really anything i can do without my dads support, so if anyone can give advice or help on how to better discuss it it with my dad that would help too.
