I asked Grok to compile everything known about the follow-up album

I know Goliath is only 2 months old, but I want more damn it 😆 So here we go...

- They wrote and recorded ~18 songs total during the Goliath sessions and narrowed it down to 10 tracks for the album. The extra material forms the basis of the follow-up.

- Some of the best material was held back—not "leftovers." Holt has "anxiety attacks" over the selections because everything was strong. The planned opener for Goliath was moved to the next album.

- Most of Holt's "really, really fast stuff" is slated for the next record (implying it may lean more toward classic high-speed thrash compared to Goliath's adventurous, diverse approach). Half of his favorite solos are also on the next one.

- One of Holt's two epics (an 8-minute "bludgeoning" track, like "a piano dropped on your head") was saved for the follow-up; the other ("Summon of the God Unknown," with more drama, subtlety, and textures) made Goliath.

- An 11-minute track by Lee Altus is one of the standout pieces held for the next record. This aligns with the band's increased use of longer, more epic/complex compositions.

May 9 - Destin, FL - Club LA

May 10 - St Petersburg, FL - Jannus Live

May 16 - Harrison, OH - Blue Note

So there's finally some proper headline dates in the midst of the Sepultura run. Very curious to see what's on a full 14-15 song setlist. Anyone able to attend these?
