We've been working on this for 2+ years and it's finally finished. Greensboro Emo/Punk band Dit is finally putting out their magnum opus. Twelve songs to get stuck in your head. Also playing that night is Vermillion Green and 2nd Today. 9PM, 10 bucks at the door.

A friend of mine and I have been talking about wanting to host an oldschool lan party somewhere. BYOC (bring your own computer) hooked into a network switch via ethernet.

I think Unreal Tournament 2004 would be a great game to start with since it's completely free (via oldunreal.com) and will probably run well on just about any computer these days. And it rules.

I could probably find a local business to host this kind of thing and we'd make it free admission with the purchase of some sort of food/drink.

So what do you think? I'd like to try this at least once and if it's successful, maybe it could be a monthly thing? Lemme know your thoughts
