I was wondering if someone with more knowledge of this could please clarify. I received an ‘invitation to apply’ for a UNV opportunity - what does this mean, really? Is it an automated email, or does it mean a hiring manager/HR person actually came across my profile? (I know UN staff is busy so I thought the latter is unlikely?)

I’ve been on the platform for years, have been shortlisted in the past etc. however it is only the second time that I get an email like this. (FYI I didn’t bother to apply to the vacancy the first time around). I wasn’t particularly interested in this role they sent the invitation for but am having second thoughts now.

Hi everyone, I wonder if someone can help.

I have two Instagram accounts - one is my real one, another is a finsta. I don’t use the finsta for much, just to browse more freely (after some accidental reposts on my real one, I lost patience).

I have been using them on the same device. However, I’ve never linked my phone number to my finsta account (only the real one). I have also never:

- linked these accounts in the accounts centre (double checked and triple checked this)
- saved any passwords
- set up cross posting
- gave permission for Facebook (I don’t have Facebook)

When I want to toggle between them, I always log out and log in (it always asks me if I want to save passwords, I never do).

Here is what happened. While browsing on my finsta one, I reported some posts from an account as I didn’t want to see them (clicking on ‘I just don’t like it’). I then logged out. Logged on my real one. Much to my surprise, when I go to said account, the same posts I reported are blurred out *on my real account*. Now, how could that have happened, if the accounts are not linked in any way whatsoever? Am I doing something wrong here? Has this ever happened with any of you who happen to use more than one account?
