I’ve been referred to a pain clinic. Has anyone found a pain killer that actually reaches the bladder? Morphine pills aren’t even working. Percocet originally worked but I went from breaking 5 mg in half to eventually 10 mg 4 times a day so essentially it lost efficacy and no longer touches the pain (all prescribed and monitored by doctor). I just want the pain to stop. I’ve had this since 2019. Started as a uti where the symptoms never went away and has progressively gotten worse and worse. Ive tried nycentine and thought I was going to die from the pain (it’s supposed to be a pain killer but wow the pain it caused). So far: percocet(worked at first-nycentine, and morphine are all fails). It essentially feels like there is no bladder/urethra lining left so it’s a 50/50 shot if the med will take me to hell or not. I’m only 39 and used to be a software developer and it’s sad but the pain.. I can’t do the pain anymore. It’s hard to get the pain killer to reach the bladder pain.

My urogyno doctor retired this week so it’s been a hard time. Pain is in bladder, urethra, vagina. I’ve tried it all and I live my life in bed. Like a hot poker is around my bladder and urethra or razor blades are slicing through me every second of every day. There isn’t a treatment I haven’t tried but if anyone has a pain medicine that can reach the bladder or the worlds best doctor I’ll beg for that info. I’m on pro level so please don’t suggest things like nerve blocks, amitriptyline, hydroxyzine, naturapaths, micro genex, etc etc.. I’ve tried every antibiotic even tho I always show up without an infection (except micro genex I’ll get medium bacterial loads but doctors hate those test and the millions of antibiotics I’ve tried don’t do shit). I just need the pain to stop at this point, it’s gotten so severe. No luck with uromune vaccine from England either. I could go on for hours of things ive tried. It’s not uroplasma so please only expert opinions if anyone has gotten to this level. I’ve even done a clinical trial where a Morpheus machine was built to go through the vaginal canal into the bladder to stimulate collagen (made it worse), Mona lisa (made it worse)… I can’t go on and on on what I’ve gone through to try and get better and the amount of doctors I’ve seen. the last 2 years have been hell I just need the pain to stop. I eat 3 foods and only drink Evian, no sex, no arousal, still severe severe pain. Valium, xanex.. I can’t get to the pain. Yes I’ve done cystoscopies.. I’ve done it all please I need a break from the pain. I’ll do anything and spend any amount of money at this point. I had to quit my job but I have savings.

Is it possible for pain to get worse after nerve blockers?

I’m confused as a lot of people have said ketamine induced their ic pain, but I’m wondering if that’s just people who abused it. The pain clinic doctor said he hadn’t heard of this and said it was a way to ‘reset’ the nerves down there. I had a hell of a flare up after the prudential flare up and so I’m guessing it’s probably based upon on nerves with this information? Does anyone have any advice? I’ve been in severe pain for 6 years so it’s gotten really scary at this point, starting to lose my mind a bit

My internist prescribed fluconazole(difflucin) basically for the hell of it. I have interstitial cystitis and we never know what’s going on down there. First off it started my period from the medicine. I know this because I just had one a week and a half ago. Took the diflucin and had PMs,moodiness, cramping, the brightest red blood I’ve ever seen- the full works. Now all of a sudden I’m having actual yeast infection side effects. Burning and itching from hell. Luckily she prescribed 7 of these so I can (and will! Hell I’ll probably take 2) take another but I’ve never experienced anything like this, has anyone else??? She only prescribed 100 mg and usually I get 150 and in a different package but I’m terrified, what is going on? I had bad cramps and everything last time. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Im really hurting and scared. For some stupid reason I just took another pill- as in 2 pills, gonna nuke that shit?). I’m thinking hell, I’ll get all the yeast out.i know a lot of people will tell me to call the pa but i just starter with her and dont want to be annoying. Please help me internet doctors- i have enough pain down there from interstitial cystitis so I can’t use anything topical. I’m thinking prayer and an ice pack

I usually have horrid mood swings after diflucin and generally feel like shit but this is new and holy vagina pain!! I’m going to take it off or scratch it to death. Seriously WTF. I haven’t had sex, no wet undies, diflucin actually caused this yeast infection AND my period. Gods help me. My interstitial cystitis keeps me from using anything topical so basically.. I’m going to cry.. could it be bacterial vaginosis? Am I the only person with the period and moodiness side effect? I sure as fuck know it’s not supposed to cause a yeast infection. I WANT A PENIS

Basically the title. I really don’t want to gain weight and the medicine is not helping. I’ve had the worst week of pain since getting diagnosed 8 years ago. No idea why. Percocet has saved my life this week. I’m wondering if the amitriptyline could be contributing to this level of pain. I would be screaming from pain if I didn’t have pain killers. It’s an unsurvivable amount of pain.. My specialist is out of town and my primary gave me 3 shots total of antibiotics.

Hoping 25 mg will be low enough where it won’t be an issue.
