Beginner itching to buy a 35mm or a 50mm lens, while already having a 13-33mm lens. Need advice on if I should learn shooting better at 33mm f6.3 on the kit lens, or go for a prime lens.
I really love having a wide, mid and telephoto combination simply because I grew up shooting on my phone so much that I feel like I have a flexible composition/framing in my mind when I am taking pictures.
My main question is, how close is the 33mm compared to 35mm irrespective of the aperture. I am not big into portraits, so I don't mind missing the bokeh on the 33mm at f6.3. But I really would like to know if the difference in compression or fov is a big enough difference.
If it isn't that much, I'd love to exhaust myself with that until I decide to upgrade to 17-70 tamron or 18-50 sigma. What do you guys think?
I also have an f2 50mm prime lens but manual focus, and struggle with focus on shots that require non eye level angles cuz I can't see the focus highlights, unless I am zone focusing.

As a beginner, stick to 50mm F2 Manual Focus or get an Auto Focus 56mm f1.7 lens?
I got a 50mm F2 MF lens for about 50 dollars (ttartisan) and it's great, I like the photos. However, I can't take shots as fast as I want to, and I find myself asking if I really need to take a shot that quick.
I am not a content creator, nor am I professional photographer. I just enjoy the process and like both portraits and street photography.
Do I stick to the manual focus, and learn the to compose better shots at 50mm or just get a something with AF?
Save up and get an XF 18-55mm or something similar? I have a kit 13-33 and sometimes enjoy 13mm for wider shots, wondering if the 18mm will not give the same vibes.
Any experience or thoughts welcome. Thanks.
First time poster, I’d like to know what the community thinks of these shots. 50mm F2 MF XT30iii.
X-T30 iii and Ttartisan 50mm F2 manual focus. These are definitely not my best shots or maybe they are with the limited time I’ve spent outside with my camera.
