Amazon India fails when others assure delivery within minutes......

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Amazon India. I placed an order and made full payment in advance based on the assurance that the product would be delivered within 9 days. However, the platform failed to honor its commitment at every stage.

On the 9th day, when the product was not delivered, I contacted customer support and was assured that the order would definitely be delivered by 10:00 PM the same day. Despite this assurance, the product was not delivered. The next day, upon contacting customer support again, I was informed that the delivery had been delayed and would take another two days.

After waiting further, I contacted customer support on the third day only to be informed that the order was still delayed and that I could opt for a refund. When I insisted that I wanted the product and not a refund, I was assured that the order would be delivered. However, to my surprise, the application reflected that a replacement request had been initiated, despite the fact that I had never received the original product in the first place.

Subsequently, the platform unilaterally cancelled the order and initiated a refund process. This cancellation was entirely due to the platform's failure to deliver the product and not due to any action on my part. When I sought compensation for the inconvenience, wasted time, and deficiency in service, I was merely told that the company could only offer an apology and nothing more.

To make matters worse, the refund credited to my account was less than the amount I had actually paid. Upon inquiry, I was informed that the shortfall was due to cashback that had been given when I placed multiple orders together. This explanation is completely unacceptable because all other products in that order were successfully delivered, and only this particular product remained undelivered due solely to the platform's fault. Deducting cashback from the refund of a product that the platform itself failed to deliver is unfair and amounts to passing the consequences of its own deficiency in service onto the customer.

The entire experience reflects poor customer service, lack of accountability, misleading assurances regarding delivery, unauthorized processing actions, and an unfair refund policy. The responsibility for the cancellation and non-delivery rests entirely with the Amazon India. Customers should not be made to suffer financial loss and inconvenience due to the platform's inability to fulfill its contractual obligations.

I strongly urge Amazon India to improve its delivery management, customer support practices, and refund policies to ensure that customers are treated fairly and compensated appropriately when such service failures occur.
