On paper they are great, reality they aren’t.

Bought a pair of brand new gen 2s and they were awesome at first, I use them everyday. All the features are great, when they work. I’ve been having trouble with them almost every time I use them. Sometimes they won’t charge in the case, I clean the connections and still some times they still don’t charge. They disconnect randomly and the biggest issue I was having was not being able to get a battery level reading. The app didn’t tell me and the ai wouldn’t either. Forcing restart works but it’s annoying doing it everyday. Now when I connect to my phone it thinks the glasses are low battery until I restart then it reads full battery. Today I got a new one. The touch pad started having issues. It works then it doesn’t. It’s almost like when you get a feature that wasn’t working before to work it kills another. The touch pad is working but not functioning. I touch it and I can head the audio click but music won’t pause, double tap, won’t skip, volume up and down? Nope. And the update, give me an error each time either saying battery low when it’s 100%, not warm yet so I use them for a while still just says error when attempting to update. Really just annoying and not to mention the AI is the dumbest on the market.

Bought early April 2026

Windows 11 destroyed my PC

Last and final post about this situation. About a week ago I updated my windows 11, pc had trouble restarting after it downloaded, turned it off because it was frozen for a couple hours. Pc won’t boot, only after restarting a bunch it would get signal to the screen. I tired almost everything to fix it, but brand new parts but nothing worked. Eventually I was tired of trying and gave it to Best Buy. After 5 days they tell me one of my ram sticks is bad, and I need a new motherboard. Idk how but a windows update somehow did $700+ worth of damage to my pc. I wish I could buy 1 stick of ram, 32gb of corsair Vengence is $500. I’m beyond annoyed. It worked completely fine up until the second I did that update. Windows owes me money.

Windows 11 🗑️

I had scheduled an update for windows 11 a few days ago, since then my computer turns on but black screen on the monitor. After turning on and off about a million times, every now and then the screen will show, either stuck on bios entry screen, or telling me a certain percent of an update then goes black again. After a couple hours it finally got me into windows. Next day I turn my computer on, back to the black screen. After a couple tries I was able to get in. Fast forward to today and it loaded me into windows first try, but now there are new updates. The first update wasn’t that bad but it seem that every update can’t do the automatic restart, instead it just freezes my screen. I left that screen on and went to work a 9hr shift to come back and it still frozen on that screen. It just seems like every update is an endless cycle of me turning on and off my pc just to log into windows. Windows 10 was awesome, windows 11 has been a none stop headache for me.
