Injection question

Hi! I usually inject myself but had my partner inject me because the needles I was using hurt more than usual because they were a bit bigger. Still generally very small, sent to me with my meds. I forgot to tell him it just needs to go into the skin and he put the whole needle in. It did bleed (usually doesn’t) but just for a second.

I’m pretty fat so I’m pretty sure it would just hit fat. But does injecting deeper change anything as far as side effects or concerns?

Worried about possible bite

I have read the FAQ. Unfortunately I’m still very worried and wanted to ask if this picture could possibly look like a bat bite. Thanks in advance for any reply

Is spraying for bugs monthly normal in Bloomington?

Hello!! I’m moving to Bloomington soon and one of the apartments I looked at seems great and seems to have decent reviews/people on Reddit spoke well about it. But they spray every single month for bugs? That feels excessive to me, or like they’re battling a specific issue. Is this typical in Bloomington though?

Is spraying for bugs monthly a red flag?

Hi! I am about to sign a new lease with an apartment. Looks fine to me and I toured an unoccupied unit. Asked about pest control and they said they spray once a month in the kitchen and bathroom, with something that is pet friendly once it’s dry (I have a dog).

Is this safe? And is it a red flag? Does it mean there’s an issue they’re attempting to contain? I’ve never lived somewhere that sprays this much, however I am moving somewhere slightly more wooded.

TIA!!

Would you buy a new CO alarm in this situation??

Hello! I have a pretty new CO and natural gas alarm. It went off one time and wouldn’t stop and alerted us very early on to a gas leak that got fixed. The technician even asked what brand it was because he was impressed that it alerted us so early on, so I know that it has recently worked well.

This morning, I walked outside to my kitchen and noticed the natural gas smell. I looked around and sure enough we forgot to turn off a burner. I called a very tired firefighter who said to open the windows and wait until the smell goes away and we should be all good.

My concern- why did my alarm not go off? The smell was very noticeable, and the burner was probably open for about 3 hours. Our stove isn’t super old, so maybe it auto stopped and the gas I smelled just had no where to go? Only conclusion I can come to is that a couple times I’ve used Lysol around the alarm and it’s gone off, possibly burning out the sensor?

Should I get a new alarm or am I being a bit dramatic?

Edit: sorry, title is confusing. The detector is a CO and natural gas (methane) alarm
