Sword of Truth?

I’m halfway through book 2 of Terry Goodkinds Sword of Truth series. This dude seems like he has a pretty sadistic mind. Lots of domination and an uncomfortable amount of rape followed by murder…not sure if I’m going to continue reading. Just wondered what other people thought and if the series gets better or worse.

What MV have you beaten with the most disappointing ending?

So I just beat Alwa’s Awakening at 100% and I have to say that the ending was a complete disappointment. I mean, I know it’s a B level game and fairly simple, but after collecting some special items and uncovering some seemingly important clues, one would expect those things to have something to do with the ending since they didn’t affect the gameplay at all, but nope, they were worthless outside of adding to the completion percentage. I still enjoyed the playthrough, but that ending….devs should be embarrassed. What other MVs have you played that you felt that way?

Aeterna Noctis - Switch 2 Issues?

So I downloaded and have been playing on Switch 2 since the game was on sale for $2.99. I know it’s supposedly not compatible, but so far it’s been pretty decent. I have had it crash about one an hour, but it doesn’t seem to be a big deal since there are checkpoints so often. Just curious if anyone knows if there is a point in the game that is truly so bugged that you cannot get past it before I spend too much more time on in. I’m guessing I’m about 20-25% through.

Cheap B/C grade recommendations

I recently bought and played The Sword of the Vagrant because it was on sale for $2.49 on Switch. I wasn’t expecting much and that’s exactly what I got. Nothing great, but not horrible either and only had slight MV elements. However, since I didn’t expect much, I did enjoy playing it. Got me wondering what other MVs are out there that people have played that are only a couple of bucks but were enjoyable for what they were. Any recs?

Fantasy Recs - Clean(ish)

I’m looking for some recommendations on some good series that do not have explicit sexual material or much swearing (made up swearing like WoT is fine). Here’s some of the adult stuff I’ve already read (not going to list the more YA stuff):

Tolkien Wheel of Time All Sanderson’s books Modesitt - All Recluse books Earthsea All Shanarra books (some good but series overall was meh) Dandelion Dynasty Tad Williams - All Osten Ard Daniel Abraham - Dagger and Coin (too much swearing)

If you know of some other good stuff, please let me know. Thanks!!

Laika Aged Through Blood

Just finished Laika Aged Through Blood and all I can say is wow! The game is super unique and fun as any MV I’ve ever played. It can be tough though.

The soundtrack is by far the best out of any MV I’ve played. It fits the atmosphere and feel of the game perfectly.

I’ve never been one to care much about the story in MVs but this one really sucked me in. Laika herself is hardcore with ice in her veins. I’d put her up against any MV protagonist.
