One Year of Progress! Can’t believe it

I started my Patreon a few years ago but struggled to get any members so I just let it fizzle out. Last summer I had a reckoning with myself and realized no one would join if I didn’t put the work in. So last July I decided to basically post to an empty audience. It was discouraging at times— I had a lot of people cancel, had months without new members, but I kept going and even took a leap of faith to launch a monthly sticker club! The sticker club was something I wanted to try for years, but I doubted myself so much for fear of failure.

Here to happily say that one year of effort later, I now have almost 100 members (free and paid) and 16 members to my sticker club!! It’s been so much fun and has given me a new purpose to making art instead of making art for instagram and reels. Now I make monthly coloring pages, share behind the scenes, and draw a monthly sticker for my mail club and it’s all stuff that I actually want to make. I had a lot of help and encouragement from this sub, so I wanted to come say thanks 💜

July sticker club is a turtle 🐢

I run a monthly sticker club and I drew a turtle for July’s sticker. I thought you would all appreciate this fun design!! It’s one of my favorite turtle drawings to date!

I recently started my own sticker of the month club and want to figure out how to appeal to more potential members. I’m new to this and figuring it out as I go— so far I’ve had decent success and have 11 members after 3 months!

I want to know what would be a deciding factor/reason to join for most people. I’m a member of a few myself, but looking for the perspective of people on the outside! Some of my current selling points are affordability ($6/mo.), original artwork, themed (animals), and durable/waterproof stickers.

Should I share more of myself? My process? Fun challenged? Looking for what drew you to sign up to your sticker clubs!
