TikTok Shop Ecommerce Restriction After ONE 4-Point Violation — Has Anyone Experienced This?

I started a brand-new TikTok account in early June and grew it to 1K followers within a few days. I was accepted into the Shop Pilot Program on June 12 and then accepted into the Affiliate Program on July 12.

On July 13, I posted a video featuring a MaryRuth Organics product, but the wrong product was accidentally linked to the video. I received a 4-point CHR violation for “Irrelevant Product Promotion.”

I appealed several times and also contacted TikTok and MaryRuth Organics, but unfortunately, none of the appeals were successful.

After receiving the violation, my CHR dropped from 200 to 196, and my views completely tanked. I started getting mostly double-digit views, with only a few videos reaching 100–300 views.

Since then, I've worked my way back up to a healthy CHR of 201, but my views are STILL consistently in the double digits and I am not making any sales on videos posted after receiving the violation.

What's especially frustrating is that I've been consistently posting 6–9 videos per day since July 13, so I don't think this is an issue of being inactive or not posting enough. I also know that my content is good quality. I've had my content review by many coaches in reputable programs.

This week, I received a follow up email from MaryRuth Organics saying:

>

They asked me to provide photos and videos so they could endorse the removal of the e-commerce restriction on my account.

This is where I'm confused. I didn't even know I have an e-commerce restriction!

Has anyone ever heard of TikTok placing an “e-commerce restriction” on an account after just ONE violation for accidentally attaching the wrong product to a video?

And if you've experienced this, did getting the restriction removed actually restore your views/reach?

I'm trying to figure out whether this e-commerce restriction is what is keeping my account stuck at double-digit views even though my CHR is now back to healthy AND I'm posting 6–9 times every day.

Any insight from people who have dealt with this would be greatly appreciated!
