Has anyone figured out a way to manage option orders and have multiple exit targets? I day trade options and looking for an efficient way to scale out. Currently manually scaling out from positions. Are there any order management APIs out there or ways to pre program my exit trades on options? Thanks for any feedback.
Hi all, I day trade US options. I need a way to quickly scale out of positions and take sequential targets which IB sucks at...but there must be a way! Once my initial partial target is taken I'm left naked in the trade, so I need to right click on portfolio position>trade>Create target/stop exit bracket (time consuming>go through the prompts>finally sets up a new bracket). So I try adding bracket order hotkeys only to be told it's only for new orders and not when you have existing position (yep, a stupid limitation). So question is how do you set up your hot keys/buttons for existing positions once the first target is taken (assuming you don't use the horrible scaling feature the software offers). I use the desktop software (Mosaic). Thank you!
