differences between flying eagle skates???
hi!! i used to roller blade a lot early in high school and really loved it (nothing fancy, just riding around) but i was using my moms old skates and when they finally broke, i had kind of grown out of it. now that im in college i want to pick it back up again bc i know i need the exercise and i just think its really fun. im not really looking to do tricks or anything fancy, just riding around parking lots and maybe around campus. ive been looking forward to starting rollerblading again and have a budget ideally under $200.
after doing some research, i decided i really wanted the flying eagle bkb b9 inline skates. i liked that they said they can be adapted/upgraded as i got better (and they come in a SUPER cute brown/orange color). the thing is, the color that i want does not come in my size. i followed several different measuring instructions and they all pointed to me needing a 41/42 (26.5 cm from heel to toe, typically a 10 or 10.5 in womens). i know it’s kind of silly, but i think that i might be more likely to use the skates if i like the color. the only color in that skate that fits me is the black one, and i really want something with a fun color.
i looked around the website and then found the X 3 Shrike that’s in my price range, size, and also a cute color option. i’m just worried that they might be too advanced for me?? the description doesn’t say anything about it being adaptable, but i know that you can typically change out wheels and such.
i’m also open to any other skates that people might suggest!! i really just want to get back into skating and feel kind of cute doing it :)
tldr: i used to be really comfortable rollerblading but haven’t done it in years and am buying new skates. i’m worried flying eagle x 3 shrike might be too “advanced” for me and am looking for advice.
