I lost my sapphire engagement ring this morning (8/15/26) either in the SF botanical gardens, in Golden Gate Park nearby, or along this route I took on my bike back from there to Dolores Park. Already posted in nextdoor and reached out and gave my info to the botanical gardens and sf parks, but was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions for other places I should look into.

Update: I found it!!! I'm so fucking relieved. I'm a dumbass, and I realized that I was wearing a different pair of pants earlier and it was in the pocket where I thought I had put it, so it had never actually fallen out anywhere. Thanks everyone for the suggestions and ideas though!

Anyone know of any bus/car options from Cusco to Hidroelectrica later in the day? I’m only seeing options for as late as 8 am departures from Cusco.

Just arrived in La Paz and didn’t realize these blockades were ongoing. We were planning on biking from La Paz to Copacabana in a few days and then into Peru as part of a bicycle tour. Does anyone know if it’s possible or safe to bike/walk through these blockades. I’m seeing conflicting info online. Thanks!
