Fine Tuning for some entry level cEDH (and yes, another Smaug deck tech attempt)
Recently I've been mulling over the possibility of expanding my EDH beyond the casual play and into more cEDH circles. Not planning to nor expecting to break open the meta, but brewing within some fundamentals as far as I understand them to try and learn more and have fun. None of my casual decks really focused on meta considerations, infinite combos, and the like so I'm really just trying to get my feet wet.

Wincons / Play pattern
We've all seen the [Pyrohemia]/[Pestilence] line, so I won't go down that rabbit hole; likewise the [Mayhem Devil] cycle for infinite mana is obvious. I've included [Banefire] [Starstorm] and [Breach the Multiverse] as additional wincons
Meta considerations
I'm working out how viable the support package is if I'm able to resolve Smaug into any of those, while still presenting interaction to the table of Rogsi, Tymna, and Kennin decks. If anything, I'm also more inclined to attend the "off meta" events at my LGS with cards like [Foodchain] being banned, where I might be more viable? I've played a couple games into Magda, Eldrazi Colorless, Rog, Raph and Mikey, Azula, and Azami in those events (and others I can't recall).
Budget
Budget-wise, I'm kind of so-so as this is more of a passion project than a deep investment (so proxies are likely going to be involved for now). Along with that my aspirations are mostly learning over tournament circuits.
Testing
I haven't had much game testing outside of gold fishing, but that has at least had some interesting interactions with mana curve and timing. Obviously gold fishing without intimate knowledge of counter play only gets me so far.
Just welcoming some feedback and consideration from those much more engrossed in the format. Who knows, maybe there's an inclusion someone hadn't considered (likely not, or at best a 3rd, 4th, 10th in slot option haha).
