Am I the only one who misses the old writing/humor?

(First 3 images are from older eps, last 2 are from newer ones)

Ok, first of all, this isn't hate. I am a big objectified fan and I love the comic. This is just my opinion, and something I've been thinking about. Please keep that in mind before calling me a hater or something

Compared to the older episodes, the dialogue just feels way more.. weird? Idk. The humor feels repetitive and the jokes don't really land much anymore, since half of them are just drawing characters with weird, exaggerated faces (which can be funny! it just feels overused). In older episodes, the dialogue and jokes feel more natural, which is interesting and well-done for a comic about objects with animal limbs in a zombie apocalypse.

Reading older episodes just feels refreshing, because of how natural the dialogue is and just how well-written it is. We can easily figure out the personalities of the characters, and the humor lands despite the serious plot. And that's another thing- balancing the seriousness and comedic moments feels so strange in the new episodes.

It felt jarring to go from "Mushroom breakdown sad episode" to "haha bic silly goofy episode", if that makes sense. Spitrus episodes, too, feel weird, because we just had a big serious romance moment and now it just feels like we can't take it seriously with all the weird faces and such.

And I completely understand writing styles can change. I'm a writer myself, and looking back at my old writing I find some of my humor and descriptions corny or just badly written- but it can also be waaaaaay better! I'm not trying to say that the new objectified episodes suck and only the old ones are good and I'll never read another episode again grr!11!1!!!! This is just my opinion.

I have a lot more I want to say, but I don't want to make this too long. Feel free to give me your thoughts, I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Warrior name ideas?

Hi, this is my OC Rainpaw. She's a WindClan apprentice, formerly a loner, who is the subject of an affair between WindClan warrior Beetleshine (who she closely resembles) and loner Frog. She was named after her grandfather, Rain. Personality wise, she's serene, calm, sensible, and thoughtful. She's partially deaf (about 70%) due to being well.. a white cat with blue eyes.

I'm struggling to come up with her warrior name :3 if anyone has ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Littermates in warrior cats

One of my biggest complaints about the books is littermates of main characters do literally nothing (excluding the obvious like the three and dove and ivy). It's mostly a newer-arc issue, but the examples that come to mind the most are Starlingpaw and Robinpaw from Changing Skies and Shadowsight, Lightleap, and Pouncestep from The Broken Code (even though lightleap is relevant later on i believe).

Obviously siblings aren't always close in real life, but its always sort of bothered me how the Clans live in big groups where they groom each others fur all day, sleep in the same dens, train together, etc. but barely any of them are friends. If there are any genuine friendships in the books that are a tom and a she-cat, they become mates. (Changing skies spoilers: >!Moonpaw and Goldenpaw cough.) !<I liked Bluefur and Snowfur's relationship, and the three were sweet i guess.

Idk maybe its just me but I feel like the books would be more enjoyable if (hard to put this into words) the main characters could.. act like characters and not just protagonists. I miss in arc 1 how much gossip there was.

Some rogues / kittypets from my fanfic I'm working on - art dump

Been trying to improve my art recently, using more dynamic poses and trying to improve my color pallets and the way I draw markings.

I love drawing cats

People hogging the shadow shrines

Can we please stop with the shadow shrine missions devs? I was in the sand columns and was hunting npcs from a spawner and was COMPLETELY MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS. there were plenty of npcs for everyone to get.

Then I got breath spammed, ankle bit, and two shot by a poly. Love this game.

What are some cats you'd want to be main arc protagonists?

Not like in a super edition, just a character you want to actually be relevant, whether you think they're interesting or you just like them :]

  • Duskfur - I really like Duskfur! I want to know more about her backstory, since she kinda just shows up out of nowhere. It'd be interesting if she was a former loner, and I also want to know more about her relationship with Frostdawn and Curlfeather, and Podlight.
  • Any WindClan cat - Specifically Weaselfur, because I just like him.
  • A legacy-named cat - I know we already had this with Nightheart, but I'd like to know some other cats views about being legacy named. Hollytuft is interesting since she's not rly like Hollyleaf, and some others I can think of are Spotfur's kits.
  • A cat outside the Clans - Imagine a kittypet who somehow is involved in Clan business- or bring back daylight warriors!

These are just my opinions, curious to know other peoples thoughts!

I hate hazbin hotel humor

HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE HAZBIN HOTEL AND ITS SHITTY FANBASE.

Im not one to hate on people's interests, but God how does anyone watch this abysmal dog shit.

It's a good concept for a show but was fucked over by bad writing, bad story, and overall just corny humor. Is it really that hard to not curse every second? It's unnecessary.

the characters are cute enough, but everything they say makes me want to pull my skin off.

the fandom is way worse, but.. just take a look at the images. I don't think i need to explain. Hb is much better imo, although id still never willingly sit down and watch that again.
