Regarding funds

Hi everyone,
this is for my daughter. She’s planning to study Biomedical Science at Aberdeen first and then apply for GEM. For current GEM students in Years 1–3, could you share how funding works and how you manage living costs? Is it possible to manage without working part-time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Need guidance to pass OET reading

Hi everyone,
I’m struggling with the OET Reading section and would really appreciate some advice from people who have passed.
My other sub-tests are fine, but Reading is holding me back. My Reading scores have ranged from 240 to 330, and in my last attempt I scored 330, so I’m very close to passing.
I usually do well in Part A, but I struggle with Parts B and especially C because of the time pressure. I’ve tried different techniques such as QAT and QTA, but I’m still not sure which is best.

What strategy helped you the most?
How did you approach Parts B and C?

Any tips, study plans, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. I’m determined to pass this exam and would be grateful for your advice.

Oet results delayed

Hi everyone. I took the OET paper-based test on 13 June 2026. I received the Test Day Statement email and completed the form. Has anyone else from the 13 June paper-based test had the same experience? Have you received your results yet? Thank you
