4am Can’t Sleep Design Stuff.
Can’t sleep. Decided to get onto Procreate. 😂🤙🏻
New Dead Sailors gear…
Really stoked on some of the new Dead Sailors gear. We did a late spring run and probably will skip summer and wait to do fall / winter gear since there’s like 8 massive boxes of merch in the office lol. Rider designed. Rider made. @deadsailorsbmx
Wheels…
I ordered black 5 star 17” wheels a month ago and they still haven’t arrived. I called my local shop that’s been helping me build my motor and he called them to see what’s going on and they never told me they’re on back order and they won’t be in until mid July! Wtffff. And yes… I ordered 17s on purpose because I need a smaller wheel and more tire because I road trip every month and the roads around America are all under construction and dog shit and I’m tired of slamming the shit out of my wheels. 🤬😡
Dudes on bikes.
Just some dudes on bikes because riding bikes rules. Dead Sailors BMX. 🤙🏻
Breakless. (Again)
Bit the bullet and went back to breakless today. I don’t really have a good reason for it other than it just feels more comfortable. Could be all in my head. Idk… 😂🤙🏻

Life.
Arrived in Colorado early Friday morning. Hung out with all the Dead Sailors BMX Colorado boys and now already back in Texas, made an Empire run to grab new tires / ride a bit at House Park, check my mail and now on the way to Orlando. Busy busy busy. #deadsailorsbmx
Until Next Time Colorado…
It’s been an incredibly busy couple days, but a fun couple days! Brought orders up for the store in Colorado Springs and we filmed a lot of content and rode a lot. On to Roswell, New Mexico. 🤙🏻
Merch is packed. Car is packed. Bike is packed. Bike bag is packed. Clothes are packed. Hitting the road today and leaving Orlando where we’ve been riding and hanging out with family for a month and heading to Oklahoma City to pick up one of our other riders then heading to Colorado Springs / Denver! Then after Colorado possibly stopping in California before finally coming home to Austin. Should be a long couple weeks. DEAD SAILORS BMX! Let’s goooo! 🤙🏻
Happy almost weekend! A lot of car maintenance and road trip prep for me. Florida to Denver next week!
This is my second SeaSucker roof rack. I love how simple it is to get on and off the car. Literally two minutes to take it off. The only downside to having your bike on the roof and doing lots of cross country roadtrips is the amount of bug splatter your bike and rack is exposed to. I usually keep my bike in the car, but when I’m taking a lot of bags or merch to events, the SeaSucker works well. Anyone else have any experience with SeaSucker racks? How do yall like them?
Austin has changed. It’s become saturated with California tech companies, real estate developers and more and more people looking to “find themselves”. To be fair, Austin has always been a place where unique people flock to. Our music scene was always top notch, obviously our bars and restaurants are killer and most importantly, our BMX scene has always been one of the best in the world. Luckily that part hasn’t changed. The BMX scene in Texas, but especially Austin is on another level. Our riders are always pushing the boundaries and the overall community is rad. As someone who’s grown up in Austin and the Austin BMX scene, it’s awesome that a place I was riding at 20 years ago (9th Street) is still alive and kicking. What other place can you have rad trails in the middle of downtown!? Even though Austin has changed a lot, I’m still thankful for being able to grow up there.
