Truck with a hitch backed into my car. Does this look totaled to you?

Radiator is cracked. Drivers side door makes a creak when opening…. Hood cannot be opened.

Owned since new (16 miles), 2 engine rebuilds, first car I ever modified (suspension, brakes, k04, exhaust, intercooler, inlet/outlet pipes), took all three of my kids home from birth between Missouri, Netherlands, and Montana…. About to go to Germany with an s2000 instead of a practical gti. Planned on keeping forever but now I’ll just have to look at pictures in my old age.

She might not have been anything special to anyone else, but my base 2011 gti was the greatest and most consistent companion my family has had.

was working on the car and accidentally snapped the nipple of this piece. Im not sure what its called in order to order a new one. it's that elbow from the radiator to a coolant hose.

would appreciate any help thank you.

New to the reddit page, experiencing a rough idle, low vacuum, and heavy fueling once going closed loop (6 sec. in), i have no visible (smoke test) exhaust leaks or intake leaks, did pressure test as well, & no codes. according to vcds its seeing excess air and overcorrecting with fuel. note the smoke, could this be the over-fueling or a pcv issue? running a cts catch can, built motor big turbo. Some of the smoke may be my doing from the can being full..... Thanks in advance!

After two and a half years, 25k miles, 14k in repairs, and countless hours of working on this car, I sadly let it go. I'm already missing the driving experience, how it sounded, and how familiar I was with it. It's the car that I drove around town with my best friend until he had to leave the country, the car I took up to trade school over 900 miles away from home, the car that took me, and later my little brother to graduation. It's taken me to so many places and given me so many memories! That being said; I had a lemon for sure. It never went more than 2 months without some major issue, it cost me so much money that I couldn't justify keeping it around. Thank all of y'all for the help with all the issues I had, and being such a supportive community.

Went and got an oil change at one of those quick stop, sit in your car oil shops. An hour later, I finally got the codes..p2015 and p0300 along with the 4 codes for each cylinder misfire so I'm guessing it's time to replace the intake manifold. I am getting the usual symptoms of surging on cold start, was thinking about getting the ECS quick fix but figured at 111k miles I may as well just change the manifold. Anything else I should look at replacing and doing while I have it off? Check to see if a carbon cleaning is in order is top of the list and was going to see about replacing the water pump as well.

I’m not sure why but my car overheated and when i went to check if maybe i didn’t have coolant or something i ended up having coolant. Im gonna take a guess and say water pump cuz awhile back when i was working on my car i had a leak in my CV axel boot and i also saw coolant dripping which was weird. Theres also these pics of dried up coolant not sure how it got there…?

welp. looks like my tensioner all the way extended when I did timing.

Hey yall I know this is for mk6 but unfortunately there isn’t a mk7 sub and yall are really helpful. I have this 2018 with only 40k miles. This is just one of the issues but car is not in gear while recorded and doesn’t change when it is in gear.

I just recently installed these Smoked Vland Taillights on my MK6. it seems like it doesn’t align up all the way like the factory ones did..
Anyone have a solution or fix? I’ve tried to adjust them many times but it seems that’s as far in as they go.
