Greece Visa Refused Twice.

Hey everyone, I’ve now had two Greek Schengen Tourist visa applications refused through VFS Manila, and I’m planning to reapply again.

For context, I will be fully sponsored by my partner (who has PR in Portugal) and we’re supposed to fly together this May. Affidavit was notarized here in Manila kasi we’re together plus he has properties + bank accounts here.

Reasons for refusal are 3 (not enough proof of financial means) and 10 (justification for the purpose of stay was not reliable). We addressed this already sa 2nd application (with his bank certificates clearly stating my name too and outlined our itinerary in Portugal) but still refused.

Profile:
- employed at telco company
- travel history: Singapore, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan
- savings at 88k pesos but partner has 12k euros
- submitted documents: cover letter, COE, LOA, ITR, payslips, bank cert + SOA, condo rental contract, birth cert, prev visas + stamps
- partner documents: bank cert + SOA, notarized affidavit of support, invitation letter, utility bills from properties here in Manila & Portugal

I made sure to have complete documents, both from me and my partner/sponsor. He has enough money to cover the requested 16 days. So not sure how to address these for the next application.

Would really appreciate your insights; hoping third time’s the charm 🤞

Need advice: breaking a rental contract early + rush move out

Hi everyone, badly need advice lang kasi medyo overwhelming yung changes in my living setup. 😭

Currently renting ako and kailangan ko mag-move out before matapos yung contract ko (I just renewed a 6-month contract last month, April). Hindi ko pa sure paano i-handle yung situation with the landlord and gusto ko sana malaman ano usually nangyayari if hindi natapos yung rental contract.

Questions ko sana:

  • Possible ba ma-forfeit yung deposit?
  • May chance ba na kailangan bayaran yung remaining months?
  • Paano usually kinakausap yung landlord about this?
  • May naka-experience na ba nito dito? Kumusta naging outcome?

Also, this is my first time to rush moving out to another condo, and hindi ko alam paano sisimulan yung pag-pack ng gamit. 😅 Ang dami ko palang stuff kapag actual packing na.

For context:

  • Studio/small apartment lang
  • Mostly clothes, shoes, books, small appliances, workout setup
  • Ako lang mag-isa magpa-pack

Need tips sana:

  • Ano inuuna niyo i-pack?
  • Ilang days/weeks usually inaabot mag-pack?
  • Worth it ba mag-hire movers or kaya naman DIY?
  • Any tips para hindi chaotic yung paglipat?

Super appreciated any advice or personal experiences. Feeling ko lutang na ako kakaisip hahaha. Thank you 🙏
