(finally) August

Well, August is going to be a shorter month in the old bujo. I just couldn't find energy along with motivation to get the first two weeks done.

The first page (monthly) will have birthdays and notable things on the little boxes.

Why, yes, I am trying to use my stickers and washi. 🤷‍♀️ They were sourced from Live, Love, Posh; Happy Planner; Kellofaplan; Dorky Planner Girls; and other Amazon or Etsy sellers.

August

I used Laurel Denise and Happy Planner sheets for this month's inserts. Stickers and washi include Happy Planner, Fern Creek, Dorky Planner Girls, and random Amazon and Etsy.

As each week passes, I mine it to the back of the mouth. This way, the current week is next to the monthly page.

Some water space on the back pages, but I'm trying to use them for random notes/ as scratch pads.

A5 100+ gsm

Looking for a recommendation of where to find A5 notebooks that have dot grid/ grid but the paper is 100 or higher gsm.

I have always been heavy handed and the older I get, the worse it gets.

TYIA

Edit: no hardcovers and want the TN (or so) number of pages so I got more than one in a cover. Sorry. I over-edited my original post and lost that important detail.

Frankenplanning+++

This month is a hodge podge for sure.

In my leather TUL letter sized planner, for July, with a Jane's Agenda plastic floral cover, I have a LiveLovePosh minimal monthly layout with the new Laurel Dennis disc weekly mini inserts.

I was very excited to order LD because they just released disc options BUT I must have messed up because the monthly layout that I received is only one page (grid is on one page- there are other pages) and my handwriting won't fit in those tiny boxes.

I don't know if I need all of these pages. I can see taking out pages 5&6 because I liked the LD system of having tasks listed by week on the mini sheets along with the monthly view.

Never thought I'd care that my white out wasn't a crisp white, but this LLP paper is bright bright white.

Stickers are Hubman & Chubgirl last July, I believe... Maybe 2024.

I want a cheap companion for my KLC

I got a KLC about 1.5 years ago--my first e-reader ever.

Life be lifeing and I don't read as much as I want to. Also, when it seems that I do get an unplanned moment to read, I don't have my KLC with me. I plan to carry it more often, but I thought a companion would be great.

I want to spend less than $100 US. I have checked all the usual suspects for a used device, but the main sites don't have any Kobos and others seem scammy, including eBay. And the Kobo site is "sold out" of all refurbished devices.

So it seems like my other option would be to buy a new, cheaper device.

It does not have to be color, but I do want eink--reading without the typical tablet/ phone glare is so nice for long reading sessions. I don't need the notetaking function either. This would be simple. Only other requirement is that it sync with my KLC so I can read the same books on the various devices.

I will cross post this in the e-reader thread, but I wanted to get input from Kobo users to ensure that the cross-device sharing would occur. TYIA

June Pride btp

Here is my letter work planner. I believe 99% of the stickers are HP.

The last few months have been so busy that I have not kept up with the planner part so this month, I decided to use the monthly layout.

I'm going to put deadlines and external meetings on the monthly. Then for the task pages, I'm going to use the left column for day- specific tasks and the right column for a running task list. This only works because I don't work weekends and hopefully get to take a mini vacation in the middle of the month.

In April, I returned to a bujo system. I cheat though, I design my weekly layouts in Canva and print on sticker paper. The first pictures are those before stickers.

This month, I realized that the way I was going through pages in the notebook, I might not have enough to get through December. So, I went 1 page per week with a double page said at the end of the month for to dos and notes. I don't like it. We'll see what happens in June.

Stickers and washi are from Dorky Planner Girls, Happy Planner, Pixsticks, and/ or Amazon.
