I have 16 hour transit in Dubai and got a 48 hour transit visa through emirates website. In my visa application they asked for a hotel reservation and I booked a hotel from booking.com with free cancellation.

Now that I recieved my visa, can I cancel my hotel? I'm planning to meet a friend, roam around for few hours and come back to airport. Will they check whether my reservation is valid? Or should I cancel this and book a cheaper hotel and keep it?

I applied for Uni Gold X on their website and got instantly approved. A pop-up appeared saying, "Download the app and complete KYC."

Does this mean the card has been issued?

Because now I'm thinking about trying for Scapia. I accidentally selected "student" while applying for Scapia, and it was immediately rejected. Now I'm thinking about emailing them to allow me to apply again.

So, if I haven't completed KYC, does that mean I'm fine?

EDIT: I also got an email saying YES BANK accessed my Experion profile.
