What are some of the best options for those who enjoyed Nostrum?

I have played on Warmane and Frostmorne and more recently Nostrum.

Nostrum was the best experience I had mainly because of the level caps. I found it really drove the whole community aspect of Wow that we all fell in love with 20 years ago.

I'm looking for the closest option to that now that Nostrum is gone. I have started looking into Octowow.

I would really prefer that the chance of the server being shut down is low... obviously.

Are there other servers out there that are starting with level caps or are still in the early caps like 29 or so?

Also MOP or WotLK minimum or I don't know if there are vanilla or TBC servers that plan to evolve into WotLK or beyond if thats an option.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I really appreciate all the helpful answers. Since Deviate uses the same build it was easy to switch the realmfile and give it a try. Pretty pleased so far!

Utilities Kingston Surveyors question

I'm pretty nosey when it comes to around my house.

Utilities Kingston showed up with like 4 vans and 2 trucks. About 20 people got out in high vis and walked up and down the street a bit marking lines of some sort.

I'm sure its pretty standard practice but I'm just wondering if there is a way to see future Utilities Kingston project plans.

I know there is a site that shows City plans that are underway and planned for the future.

I didn't get a chance to ask them before the packed up and all sped off at the same time. I would have just asked if I could.

Obviously not a huge deal if I don't find out, I'm not worried about it, just curious.

Kingston City council - Brandon Tozzo's notes from last night

Late night and busy night at Council last night with lots on the agenda.

Highlights include:

Council voted 8-4 to continue working on a potential Municipal Services Corporation for water and wastewater, but with considerable amendments to protect the public interest. Council formally stated that water and wastewater will in future remain 100% publicly owned and operated, even under an MSC. A potential MSC will have members of the public on the board, as well as members of Council and will report its finances quarterly to Council. The governance and shareholder agreement will come back to committee in 2027 before a final review by Council next year.

Council voted unanimously to purchase St. Patrick's School and St. Peter's School on Seventh Avenue with more information to come back later this year with a potential request for proposals.

Council voted 8-5 to rename Indian Road to Aki road, Indian Road Park to Odamino

Park, the lower portion of Indian Road to

McMahon Avenue, and make payments of $250.00 per residential unit affected by the change .

Finally, Council voted unanimously to extend the timeline for OLS to submit a funded proposal for the Crossroads Village sleeping cabin

project by one year, to July 31, 2027, to allow OLS sufficient time to finalize their operational plan for the village site.

Kingston City Council last night - Brandon Tozzo's notes

A productive night at Council last night.

Highlights include:

Council voted unanimously to direct staff to discontinue all work related to the
proposed “Patry Aquatic Park”;

Council voted 9-3 to direct staff to retain the enhanced swimming platform at Confederation Basin at a potential cost of $400,000 (I voted against on this one).

Council voted 9-3 to direct staff to pursue a Crown land lease to facilitate any future inflatable water park interest at Grass Creek Park.

Council received a briefing on the Special Constables program from bylaw to be rolled out this summer. There will be regular reporting to Council on the program.

Council also received an information report on the potential of a new municipally-run long-term care facility (it could cost $90+ million if Council wanted to make a new LTC) and another report on enhanced property standards.

Finally, Council unanimously approved a Motion on Dressing Room Equity and Allocation for Ice User Groups. Thank you, Wendy Stephen - Lakeside District for the motion

Just got our Angine de Poitrine Tickets for Picton, anyone else?

Tickets were more reasonably priced that I was worried they might be. Anyone else successful in nabbing tickets this morning? I'm really hoping the bots didn't scoop a ton up.

I've seen Sloan several times and they have always put on a solid show. I personally haven't listened to any Goldie but will check her out.

I'm pretty stoked for this years BTTF. Last years was one of the best I had been to.

Your thoughts?
