What’s your breakfast of champions ?

Hello team,

Mother of one adorable breastfed 2 years old here. He has been sleeping through the night for two months now after mommy-led night weaning 🙏 and this has opened a new segment of the day : early morning and 🌞actual breakfast time🌞.

The day now starts much earlier for me (guess I could have seen it coming when I became a parent lol) at around 6:40AM for the morning feed and big cuddles, slowly moving towards breakfast. My partner is supposed to be the Chief Breakfast Officer but as of now, I’m taking care of it mostly and have a nice mental load associated with it.

Out of curiosity, I’d love to know more about:

- the morning eating routine of those of you on breastfeeding paths where breastfeeding might be less intense (morning and evening nursing sessions) but still takes its energy consumption toll 🔥
- how do you manage it with or without your partner? IE. my partner loved cooking for me while I was pregnant but it seems like it’s more abstract to him that I’m still burning calories like a furnace with breastfeeding 🥵

The questions stem from two things
- managing nutrition when you’re under the illusion that you can « go back to normal » nutritionally speaking when it’s not the case
- parenting dynamics under breastfeeding : we know we can’t be perfectly « equal », so how might we balance things out with acts of care or logistics

Looking forward to read you hungry people:) also I’m French based in France if you feel like something’s awks with my English it’s probably related to that 🥖
