Need 2 references for Operations Analyst type role with recruiting agency

I have a current placement through a recruiting agency and I need two references if I want to move to any other placement.

My current job has been saying for over a year that they love me and want to bring me on permanently. I’d also love for that to happen because I’m massively underpaid right now! Thing is, they don’t have any funding to do it and I can’t wait any longer.

I don’t want my current supervisors in the know yet and I was laid off from my previous role with major burnout so the thought of reaching out to my previous coworkers is giving me major anxiety.

I’m more than willing to also be your reference as well if needed. Located in the US. I’d be going for data analysis or operations analyst type roles.

Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 Vacation Capsule

I’ll be spending a few days in Puerto Rico and decided to work up a capsule!

The capsule needed to cover travel days, a rainforest river hike, glassblowing, resort time, nice dinner, city walking, museum trip, and a photo shoot.

There’s a few things not pictured. Bracelets and my hiking shorts that I haven’t taken out of storage and photo’d yet.

I’m pretty happy with it overall and can’t wait to go. It really helps my anxiety to make sure that the details are planned.

Let me know what you think!

Last Minute Trip to San Juan

Hello! I had some points and vouchers expiring so I booked a trip to Puerto Rico for next week. I’m coming in late next Thursday and leaving very early on Monday. I’m staying at the Fairmont. Single, 41F.

Any suggestions on what to do or where to go?

I’m doing some research now. I like thrifting, hiking, history, and museums. Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico is definitely on the list already.

Let me know if you have any suggestions. I’m very excited to go!

6yo Bernedoodle with changing hind leg limp. Strain or something more?

My 6-year-old neutered Bernedoodle (85lb, 75% poodle) had a limp in his left hind leg yesterday. Today he seems to favor the right hind leg instead. He is weight-bearing, eating, and acting normally, but seems a little stiff when getting up after napping.

It started as he was full out running for a ball. He limped over to me and we sat for a while but he was able to walk indoors after a few minutes. He doesn’t cry when walking or when I touch or move either hind leg. He enjoys having his legs massaged, as usual :)

A few weeks ago we did a 13-hour car ride and he had bad jump up to the seats. When we arrived he also had a hind leg limp. It improved by day 2 and he was back to normal by day 3 so I figured it was just due to the ride or jump. Other than that he has no history of limping, has had his annual wellness exams with a clean medical history, and no other health issues.

His Embark DNA test showed he is a carrier for Degenerative Myelopathy (one copy of the SOD1A variant), but Embark states he is not expected to develop it.

He’s not on medication. Only Simparica Trio monthly. He’s leash walks only (no running or jumping!) in the yard and bed rest inside. I’m planning on starting Cosequin this week and have an orthopedic bed (7in memory foam) arriving tomorrow as well.

I also just ended a long-term relationship, moved with him to Florida (13 hour car ride), and just enrolled him in ASPCA pet insurance. We’re in the waiting period and I’m worried about pre-existing conditions if this turns out to be something serious like hip dysplasia. I will do what’s best for him now of course but I also really hope any big issues are covered.

Does this sound or look more like a muscle strain, or is it an issue that should be evaluated sooner rather than later?

I posted a video of him walking on the /r/AskaVeterinarian subreddit.

Tretenoin 0.025% Rx through Amazon (no insurance)

PSA for anyone else without insurance or anyone who’s trying to keep costs down.

I was able to get a prescription through Amazon One Medical’s Direct Messaging for $20.50. Right now they’re running a promo where the usual $29 messaging fee is waived for Prime members so I only paid for the prescription itself. No video visit needed. It looked like they do some other skincare related prescriptions as well.

Also it seemed like you could choose your own pharmacy if you wanted to.
