Wildpack/Arcbev?

Hello fellow brewers. Anybody have any knowledge or experience with Wildpack and/or Arcbev? I’ve never heard of either personally, but some months back a rep from Wildpack reached out trying to sell us can ends, but I didn’t need them at the time. Now that I do, I reached out for a quote and the guy responded from an Arcbev email address. Seemed like a red flag to me, so I checked and Arcbev doesn’t even have a website. Another red flag. Wildpack does have a website that seems legit though. Not sure if these companies are related or what the deal is. Anyway, anybody know anything? Thanks!

Members mark hotel towels

Hello. My wife and I went to a spa recently and were blown away by their towels. A quick check of the tag showed they were members mark hotel towels. I was so impressed, I got a membership specifically to purchase said towels. They were only available via shipping and they just arrived… they are NOTHING like what we experienced at the spa. Does anybody have any knowledge on these? Like, were they formerly great and they have suffered from enshittification? Or are there tiers and the great ones aren’t available anymore? I just want to get my hands on some great towels! lol

Which canning line?

Some of you may have seen my plea for help with my Alpha canning line recently. I made some progress and then had new issues, so we’re looking at replacing it. It’s just been non-stop issues with this thing.

Just seeing what everybody recommends. New would be great, but we’re fine with used as long as it’s not too old since there’s probably some decent deals to be had out there right now. Probably something in 50 cpm range minimum. Needs to be able to do 12s, 16s and 19.2s. We have a relationship with Wild Goose and so that’s where we started, again, just what feedback you fine folks may have for us. Thanks!

Oil-free air compressor

Who are y’all using for air compressors? We have an Atlas Copco compressor originally installed by MSAir (we’re in the DFW/north Texas area) and both companies have not been great to work with. I think we’re approaching the end of useful life on our oil-free compressor and want to see if there are any better options out there. Thanks!

Alpha Brewing Operations canning line help

I have an Alpha canning line. I believe it’s an older model Beer Cannon. I’m not at the brewery this moment to get the specs on it, but it has been nothing but problems since we inherited it and it is causing me to fall way behind. Alpha themselves seems to be fairly unreachable. Anybody an expert on these lines that might be able to lend some knowledge?

What we’re experiencing is inconsistent seams. For instance: we changed the line over from 16oz to 12oz last week, ran some test cans, examined them, they were within spec. Haven’t touched the line since. Came in today to can and our seams were wildly out of spec. Suuuper loose. So we make some adjustments, get them back in spec and start canning. Things seem to be going well. About 150 cases in we start to see a leaky seam here or there so we stop and analyze a non leaky seam, which is within spec and a leaky seam, which is now apparently too tight. We back the seamer off a degree, still leaky. One more degree, still leaky. We were already into OT, so we shut it down for the day. But I’ve got a lot more canning to do and I just can’t figure this out. Thoughts?
